well you palace haters will get your wish - we certainly wont play them again after May this year.
Just hope all your "supporters" who sang " we sent the palace down" are feeling all smug tonight, 'cause i know whose shoes i'd rather be in tonight.
and before anyone starts - i was there today. if you weren't then Shut it !!!!!!!

I remember singing to both Chelsea and Tottenham "Small Club in London, we're just a small club in London", when we were beating them just a few years ago, I'm sure you remember that too. Doesn't mean I'm scared of playing the likes of them again.
So you went to Blackpool, well done. I know your brother and parents go to the majority of games home and way, your choice. It does not however give you the right to dictate how others should behave.
It's just a game of football, we are just a football club. If you don't like it, go and play Golf! Or as you say you'd rather be in Palace's shoes tonight, go to Selhurst then, your sort will not be missed.
Oh, and i will never shy away from singing anti-palace songs.
Regardless of whether you stay up, parachute payments are due to end in May so you've certainly got an interesting future!
Just for the record, I really can't fathom why you all see why you think you relegated us. Baring in mind Pompey played their reserve team against WBA and the game prior to our match against you, we conceded in the 94th minute which we knew would send us down.
Did you see Paddy's goal for us yesterday? Whilst I don't think he's neccessarily been a better player for us than Hudson, we certainly seem to of got the better deal this season as him and Fonte are an excellent partnership.
and if my aunite had bollocks she'd be my uncle......

Is aunite some kind of rock?
if you go up with paddy regularly playing at centre half then warnock is a miracle worker
I don't know how Paddy played when he was at Charlton, but in the games I've seen him play for Palace, he is very consistent, also the goal he scored yesterday will be remembered for many a year. I know that Hudson was doing well for you early season, and it'd be interesting to see whether he is doing as well.
I doubt you'll go down this year, but I must admit the longer you remain in limbo without a manager, the harder it will be, as Parkinson doesn't seem to have changed things too much.
Looking forward to the game at the Valley, heres hoping we're both still in our current positions.
Just in case anyone hasnt seen yesterdays goals Hudson was the one heading fresh air while his man had a free header and getting totally done for pace by his marker for goal number 2.
Its a shame that we havent got anyone coming through in that position as its the one area of the pitch that has been neglected since the Dowie era.
Paddy had a bad start and then got back in the team and was consistent and reliable for us. Got the most out of his ability.
I don't think there's much of a difference between him and Hudson, though Pardew seemed to seriously rate Hudson.
Why? Please explain, 'cos it is weird to me. Anyone who knows, knows Millwall have always been the enemy, and always will. I even understand disliking West Ham more, at least they're relatively close. If it was the groundshare thing, that is history now, why the lasting resentment? Why give such insignificant, identityless fans an ego boost by hating their silly, meaningless club? I only hate Palace when we're playing them, then no moreso than say, QPR, or Fulham (when we were in the Premiership). It's just a London Derby, not the proper, Local Derby for CAFC. At least not for me it isn't, anyway.
You sure you're not a Palace fan talking about Charlton, it sounds very much like the Palace line.

You make it sound as if Millwall give two hoots about Charlton? All they care about is West Ham, occasionally Palace and the "naughty" teams when they get to play them.
I don't hate Charlton like a rival either though to be fair. I live in Hove so naturally the biggest enemy is Brighton and that will never change. After all that's happened between us over the last few years, you'll have to excuse as laughing at your demise unless you do what Dowie did for us in 03/04.
It's like Groundhog Day - but without the "hilarity".
Are you feeling smug now he's gone & we are where we are? I guess the Championship is more exciting though.....

And what about playing them at their own game? Are we not clever enough for that? Boot on the other foot, and all that? It isn't a proper Derby, Millwall are our natural rivals, these are facts borne out by tradition. Palace only really matter to sub 30-year-olds. As I don't fall into that group, it has always been Millwall who raise the hackles and stir the bile. Accusations of being a palace fan are just insulting. Why insult other Charlton fans?
I'm part of the younger generation, only seen a couple of the games against Millwall and don't feel anything like to them what I do for Palace. I've grown up seeing them as almost continually beneath us, never had much chance to get too excited apart from over their silly mentality. Went to my first games in exile, when Palace were screwing us into the ground and taking the piss when we were already on our knees. Always been giving it the biggun, lording it, self important and with barely anything to back it up. Let's not even get started on the whole "nobody cares about you issue" given how much time they spend on our messageboards, talking about us, creaming over the very thought of beating us... if it's a one way street why don't they just leave us to it? Said it on here before but i'd say there's a split at about 30. Below it's the vast majority who will have Palace as the number one, above it's the opposite with only a minority who hate them.
Going back to Golf - I really don't understand why hating Palace is a bad thing just because they are above us... perhaps if we didn't sing about Simon Jordan's boyfriend or them going down or flying over Selhurst tomorrow we'd be in the play-offs sitting pretty now. What a strange way to think.
