Be patient with CAFCTV. The problems at the weekend were out of the Club’s hands and need to be offset against that fact that this service provides things that you will just not get anywhere else (Press Day coverage, for example).
lol no chance of our "overseas" fans being patient - - - for some it's 3 am in the bloody morning and all they f******* want is some f****** commentary - is that tooo much to ask others are just plain bloody impatient
LOL JUST KIDDING before anyway jumps on me.
Oh yeah and thanks for the feedback much appreciated.
Thanks for that Dave, much appreciated. I look forward to seeing the collated minutes.
I think it will be very interesting to see how this progresses over the next 12 months.
Narrowing of agenda items to key issues (rather than get wrapped up in meaningless periphery items), and defining the correct way of receiving supporter views and relaying it are the key points for me that will determine whether this is a worthwhile exercise or not.
A small group of fans meeting a few people from the club, and coming away happy that they are all bloody nice guys and it was a lovely evening is all well and good, and will be an easy scenario to get sucked into, but will be of zero benefit to the bulk of the supporters, or in turn the club, in my opinion.
Always interesting to get views from the Directors - I can put up with potholes and a leaky stand roof
(its not where I sit, lol) but it's the football and strategies that I'm generally hungry to find out more.
[cite]Posted By: RedArmySE7[/cite]Any idea when we might get to see the minutes etc.?
I'd like to have a greater concept of what things were said regarding certain issues.
The Club is hoping to get the official minutes to us later today. They will form a good starting point, I'm sure, but it's the perceptions of the Fans' Forum reps that will need to be added. I think that might take a day or two at least.

Fully agree, AFKA - and I wasn't trying to convey a deliberately rosy picture. I simply told it the way I felt it is. Be assured that if we are disgruntled, you'll hear about it. We did agree that the measure of the value of the Fans' Forum is effectiveness. We need examples of why this is a good idea to bring the sceptics and the neutrals on board. That won't happen if all we do is to have a 'lovely evening'.
Any chance Dave of there actually being a Forum website in the future, so as much stuff as is possible can be out in the public domain to be seen by as many fans as possible?

We have talked about this. Personally I think it would be a great idea. We need a single place where people can see the kinds of questions asked and the responses obtained. It may be possible to get something on the offical CAFC website. We'll let you know.

Who would star as Nials? Do you see Henry in that role?
I would make a passable Martin, I guess ............. "Get me a beer, Fraish!"[/quote]
Thanks Dave for the prompt feedback. Any official contact the fans have to raise points and feelings with the board is worthwhile. There will always be a certain amount of sceptics but how many clubs care enough about the views of their fans to do this kind of thing. I would suspect a large majority don't.

Thanks Dave,

Good to find one interesting post amongst the rest of this thread which is essentially a lot of pointless drivel .

Is there any chance the agenda could be made public ?
