"We're in a sticky situation and I have to accept whatever decision is made. In terms of this week we have put every effort in and it hasn't worked out.”
that says to me i dont know what else to do i am here to be fired
and it will happen
is it now ok to suggest that the majority of fans now want him gone

NLA you beat me to it by a whisker ....... but when Pards himself says this in context, then it sounds like he's already been given his ultimatum - and knows that his next task is to attend the Board meeting.
Truth is I don`t think any decision about Pardew will be made this week. We have a game midweek and a huge match next saturday against Southampton. Anything less than 3 points will I think make the board take action. My guess is that he will survive.
i have just heard from people who were in corperate hospitallity for Coca Cola nad they have been told by a host a former God to me that there is a meeting underway as we sit here an "emergancy board meeting"

Is the pot-hole in the car park finally being fixed?

We knew after the Barnsley game this was a sick team and that whatever medicine Dr Pardew was prescribing was killing the patient rather than aiding a recovery. Equally, we knew that a new doctor might not save the patient - but that it was the only chance we had.
I agree with AFKA : the Murray/Varney regime would have bitten the bullet and done it. It was as obvious - no, even more obvious - as when we had to get rid of Dowie.
What has been achieved by prevaricating? We've wasted three more games in which we have conceded 10 goals and scraped one point out of nine.
I really, really hope the board is at this moment negotiating his terms of departure. He should not be in charge at QPR on Tues night.
How many more last chance saloons are there? Barnsley was meant to be the nadir. How did those siren voices persuade us that one point from six against Plymouth and Birmingham represented a new dawn? And where this evening are those who said we had to give him more time/ can't afford to get rid/ no guarantee anyone else would do any better/ and all the other excuses for ducking the necessary decision ? They've gone very quiet...
I don't hate him and I wish him no ill-will. But I love Charlton and I can't bear what he is doing to my team . I hope and pray that after this weekend we never see or hear from him again.
No, not happy. Desperately sad and deeply concerned that whoever comes in may not be able to do any better with the rather poor team he has built, I am afraid...

Best be sorting out some steak slices for when i'm back in london
Been keeping my powder dry up to now but now is the time for the silent majority to speak up. This is easily the worst team I have seen in the colours since the relegation side of '71/'72 but even they gave the impression they were trying much of the time unlike the present bunch of loanees and misfits. Can anyone else pull it round? Would a Peacock/Kinsella combination be worth a try; if not as manager/coach perhaps as the midfield engine room! If somebody does get us out of the smelly stuff he'll be manager of the year and on his bike to the big time. good luck everybody; keep the faith.
We need Merlin the Wizard. Or anybody else who specialises in magic or miracles.
Got a very good record with very average teams in this division, & on shoestring budgets. Wouldn't take any crap & would whip this unsightly lot into shape & get 'em organised!
Get him in now, & guaranteed we'll be sniffing the arsecrack of the play-offs by April! :-)
[cite]Posted By: Valley McMoist [/cite] I walked out after their FIFTH and I'm not going back again until Pardew goes. I've had enough. Shoot me down. Slag me off but I don't care anymore.
Can't say I'm sad to see the back of him, I was a big fan when we appointed him but the affection has worn down to a feeling of nausea at the mention of his name.

Bloody hell, how deep can he dig?
There was a dig about the size of our travelling support in the programme too. When the end does come, it's going to be very bitter.

I think they should have saved all their effort for today.

he is toast , gone , gone, gone,
Is the pot-hole in the car park finally being fixed?
I hope so.
Just decided to have a laugh in the last 30 minutes.
Wouldn't be surprised if Pardew is gone before Tuesday, a game which I'm not looking forward to...

i was one of those people prepared to give him more time, but never really said as much on here and preferred to just keep quiet on the subject.
now I want him out.
happy?

Didn't look like Sheff Utd ever got out of 2nd gear. Total cruise for them!
We didn't look organised in the slightest. 4-5-1 at 1-3 down? & then still 4-5-1 at 1-4! Unbelievable!
We are doomed if Pardew remains!
Billy Davies where are you?
