to be fair he is a sophisticated bloke for a footballer but he is a footballer and reading does not make up for his constant shit defending and poor disaplinary record. simple. If he ups his game and contributes to the team building on and off the pitch, rather than reading, he might become a better defender.

He has always had the ability to be a footballer but, with the confidence that comes from being a regular and Dailly keeping him in check, he now looks like a defender. Fair play to the lad 'cos he has taken a lot of stick and could easily have lost his way as a result.
Was superb again today, his piece in the programme summed it up when he said Parky had told him to concentrate on defending rather than going forward. We know he can be excellent going forward yet so far this year there have been a lot less errors at the back and the forward play has taken care of itself. Or maybe he just looks good cause he has Llera alongside? I'm joking, fair play to Youga he has been brilliant!

The players on the field (Llerra and Dailly) and the coaching staff talk to Youga throughout the game and when not talking shouting and pointing, I said a few matches ago that he was making gradual progress and this is why.
I said when Breaker came it would be imperative for him to discipline and instill in Youga positional integrity. Breaker was one of the best right backs in the top div during the mid eighties to mid nineties, let's hope Breaker's top at coaching him.
I am highly critical of Youga, but his energy and raw talent is definitely there just a shame the coaching staff have made an awful hash previously of his positional awareness.
