Wolves away FA Cup,lost 3-0 in the mid 70s ,over 6,000 travelled.Remember at the time trying to work out where they all came from considering some of the home gates at the time were not much higher? Great segregation that day it was a shared away end with heavy police lines between both supporters but going for a drink at half time the police didn't think to segregate under the stand as well where it went off big time and also outside after the game! Ipswich FA Cup singing the Joe Dolcie song, quite good fun. Promotion winning game at Carlise, didn't get home until Monday evening.(only away game of the season that i went to) Chelsea away when we put them into the playoffs, expected to walk into a half empty Northstand but found it full of Charlton, enjoyed that result a hell of a lot.Quite funny watching the Police holding a massive camera filming the trouble a few feet from where it was happening and our favourite skinhead couple of the time didn't even get a TV contract for their efforts! The match at Blackburn when we returned to the Premiership was an emotional one for me,not great support in numbers but vocal enough. The day just seemed so special? Maybe because the realisation that we had avoided stayin down long enough to stop the rot setting in and a return to a long time outside the top flight again. .
The play-off final against Leeds at Birmingham - 1-0 down and talking about how next season we would be visiting grounds such as Shrewsbury, Bournemouth, etc, then Shirtliff pops up with an equaliser and then the winner!! Talk about double mentalist celebratory behaviour!
The cup replay against Blackburn in '94 - the early Pitcher goal followed by Shearer and Co throwing everything but the kitchen sink at us - yet we just sang and chanted throughout as if we were comfortable, and was never gonna happen for Blackburn.........and it didn't!!!
So many amazing memories that I had long since filed away.
Stockport away in the Championship season was a top day out. 95p for a pint of Stella in the Working Mans behind the away end.
Can't believe I forgot Coventry in the cup.
Another I'd like to chuck in was Ipswich away in the original play off season (1987?) 1-1 I think. Bolder saved a pen and the terrace erupted. think Walshie scored?.
Chased all the way back to the coaches afterwards. Went off alarming!!! Was only 13! Terrified and buzzing at the same time.
Also have vague memories of top drawer support at Norwich on boxing day 1986. think we lost 3-1 but great backing.
These games are really an oasis in the current depression!.
Have to add my stag do in (those who went will no doubt agree) 1-0 defeat at Blackburn in 2004 followed by 48 hours of mayhem in Blackpool.

The Suicidal dozen in Leicester Nov 97 after Forest away
Bolton cafes and boozers packed at 11am FA cup 2001
Brighton pre-season 86/87
Harry The Dog Bermondsey badged bright yellow minibus to Anfield circa 93/94 (those of you who know me can see it on my Facebook)
St Andrews, Leeds play off, how we got out alive is still a wonder to me, Steve Dowman and 1905 I think were with us as we stayed in Trafalgar Square all night drinking cans when we got back to London (remember Keith fellas? RIP)
coming back in again to repeat the walk to QPR game in, 1967 was it? Our support was phenomenal, totally dominated the game, but lost...also the 1-1 league cup draw there (keefys greatest game) was fantastic support, got in an hour before and was already packed with Charlton....am I the only one who remembers them? Also Fulham away one year (1968 1-0?) in their home hammersmith end where the whole concrete terrace used to bounce like a trampoline with our movement...did I dream it?
Nah Seth, youre just a little bit older than me thats all.....Fulham did have the bouncy bouncy terrace mate, been there a few times but would have been when I was a bit older early mid late seventies or so...
Middlesboro away the other year , great atmosphere, I wonder what would have happened if we had won, the airport after the game would have been unbelievable , as the team arrived etc, as it was their was some polite clapping ....although everyone was knackered
Blackburn cup replay was another great trip , this time we won ....singing all the way through , i just remember before the game in the pub outside as it was all muddy outside and people were slipping and falling over on way to the game ...
