So long as the BBC send someone ;-) KillersBeard and me will always fill in if you're short of someone to do the away games Matt! (I know you'll be reading this).
Actually I knew about this back in the summer, so the club have been trying damned hard to get an agreement thrashed out to suit all parties and bring live commentary back to the OS.
[quote][cite]Posted By: northstandsteve[/cite]so how much does it cost[/quote] £34.99 for a year, Steve, with value-added video content. Well worth the money to save so much hassle for local fans for away games, and presumably also for more remote Addicks.
Have I missed the point. On Saturday, BBC Radio London & Kent so I understand didn't broadcast our match so those who could tuned into the Premium TV commentary and listened to Oh Ahhrrrr Radio Plymouth. So are we going to be able to do that as part of our subscription via CAFCTV if Radio London doesn't cover our game?
Bing there will be commentary on every game now if you subscribe (Charlton biased not oppo biased ), otherwise occasional commentaries on the wireless BBC Kent will continue as before for those who aren't subscribers.

I'll be signing up as well. I admit, living where I do, I am not sure whats available locally. I just thought that, for example on Saturday, BBC London commentary wasn't available locally. If I'm wrong and it was that's fine.

Answers on a postcard.........
Morning bing.... someone...(his name shall be nameless.....aghem) gave us all a username and password for that site on Saturday...however it only needs two or three folk to log in with those details to exceed the users limit....hence only about two or three managed it.
This has been the case on a couple of ocassions so far this season.
Add to that the fact that only about 70% of the population of Kent can actually pick up Radio Kent (this won't be rectified until 2010 at the earliest) and we have a major problem, hopefully now solved.
[cite]Posted By: RedArmySE7[/cite]Another plus side will be getting the highlights as sometimes (especially mid week games) it's difficult to find them if yo miss the goals on SSN.
CAFCTV - the new Charlton website featuring live online match commentaries and video content - is now up and running.
Addicks supporters are now able to sign up to the new website and immediately take advantage of the match highlights and archive section.
Fans will also be able to listen to live online commentary of Saturday's fixture against Birmingham City at St Andrews via CAFCTV.
And supporters who wish to find out more about CAFCTV, from its benefits to the system requirements, can find some detailed information about the new website here.
CAFCTV - the new Charlton website featuring live online match commentaries and video content - is now up and running
CAFCTV is a subscription service, and is priced 99p for a four-day trial, £3.99 per month, or from £34.99 per year.
Apart from the audio commentary and match highlights, the new services offered by CAFCTV include a live matchday centre with a constantly updating league table, text commentary and match statistics.
Video interviews and features with Charlton's players and management and behind-the-scenes video footage around the club will also be available, although there are some immediate resource and equipment issues to be resolved.
Is it just me?
Every link click I on just sends you straight back to the introduction video...you can't actually sign up???
Even the one on the video pop up screen(Sign Up Here) just restarts the video????
Just to warn you i think it's having teething problems.
I've managed to register my details but the once I'm logged into the site it seems to get stuck in some kind of loop where you end up getting errors and told that you are not registered.
Also when I occasionally can get through to the payments options suddenly the 99p one has disappeared!
Could be because I'm using a mac but I can't imagine that affecting the registration process, I'd have thought that would only cause problems once you try to watch any video content.
