We have a fair helping of followers who, being polite, are not the full ticket.

Still some way to go to catch up with The Spanners though Bart.

Do you reckon he means us Barnsey?

we found great pleasure in ripping the Pish out of the forth official and Lino i am even taking credit for the fact that Jon Jo was 2 or 3 yards off because we had the Lino scratching his chocolate starfish.

it was a poor turn out as Afka says considering the crowds last season.

If we get a home draw folks put your thermals on and go out it only cost 4 quid for me and NLJR and he didnt really care that it wernt the first team.

can i just say how fecking big is Mambo his legas are huge and he is built like a preverbial brick shite house
  • Is Mambo Number 5?
  • turns out i was wrong about the crowd. 800-odd apparently. They must have all been sitting on the opposite side to me !!

I wonder why they would want to do that? : - )

Not as much as all of his girlfriends: Monica, Erica, Rita, Tina, Sandra, Mary and Jessica.

  • lol

he did this brilliant move in the first where he took one step left, then one step right
  • and then one to the front and one to the side?
  • lololol. silly but hilarious.
  • I was going to go but called it off because of the cold.

It's going to be cold enough on Saturday shivvering in that dump ...
  • Also heard it AFKA

i was shocked there are some brain dead people around
  • [cite]Posted By: WSS[/cite]and then one to the front and one to the side?

    Did he...
Clap his hands once and clap his hands twice
  • I did hear their centre forward was complaining that he couldn't run and he couldn't hide from Mambo.
  • re mambo No 5, its still sadder that so many people on here know the words :)
  • (googled It) Shhh!
  • Christie - Looked solid in everything that came his way
Solly - Looked solid and impressed myself again. Give it a cuple of years and this could be a good right back for us
Clark - Slipped for their goal, but made some good runs down the left in the first half
Stavrinou - Was ok. Was a scrappy game in the middle
Mambo - Seems to improved on the games from last year.
Jenkinson - Looked very good. Nice pace, and brought the ball well out the back
Long - Took his goal very well
Shelvey - Quiet i thought, but it was a scrap in that middle. Unlucky with the 45 yd effort, and took his goal well.
Godfrey - Had a rough time against the 2 lumps at the back, and never gave up
    Tuna - ok. Nice touches
Calderon - How small is he? Pacy, and good ball for the winner

  • I've noticed Tuna has been involved with the reserves quite a bit this season, any obvious reason for that?

harsh i know, but not on last night's display.

Yup, he knows where the net is
  • I heard it was because we are losing that feeeesh off the screen and the club thought it would be nice if we could have a player we can call feeeesh everytime he gets the ball

    i'll get me coat
  • He gives you a healthy option upfront

One of the few that haven't slipped the net

We're signing Mayo as they go well together

(he deserves a pro career, headline writers dream)
  • I have a very similar view of the game to others. Not as pretty as last year but equally as hard-working.

Jenkinson and Calderon probably impressed me most, and Mambo looks like he could be another Shittu, in size if nothing else.

Heres hoping for another home draw in the next round.
  • What sort of player is Jenkinson? Haven't heard much about him compared to Lozano-Calderon and Mambo.
  • I thought he was quite good TBH
i think we missed Yuseff and Uncheni hugely in that game, unforunatley for ben godfrey he couldnt hold the ball up like they did to allow the midfield or other strikers get more involved, didnt mind mixing it though so fair play to him
