Disagree with most of this, I'm not happy - who could be happy with recent performances, but I think that it could get worse with a change of manager just for the sake of it, lets stick for now.
Too much spin in the original article for me, it was a personal view and imo should not not really claim to be representing a 'unanimous' or 'majority' view.

Not sure it is claiming to represent anyone other than AFKA's view

Whether its what others believe or not, i don't know. But i'm not sitting on the fence no longer.

we've been utter chuff for nearly a year and that's a FACT not spin....
I suggest after the NW meeting last night we wait for 5 games until that Vote
not that i wouldnt vote yes for his sacking more the fact that he showed bollox for turning up and he was honest
5 games then start what ever campaign we want to get rid, a stay of execution you could say
oh yeah and Wassing it was Afkas view not a view of the people most of whom had said our point on other threads but without the ability to get it out there in the way that was written.
and it is the majority view on here if not the rest of the supporters like it or not
NLA, I don’t doubt that the article represents the majority view on this site. My point on the spin was based on the reference to ‘unanimously’ and in the article ‘majority’ was used in conjunction with the Valley crowd, not just this group.
It is well written, passionate and is the popular forum viewpoint, but it’s spin - imo.
My own point on Pardew, which unfortunately will not prevail is that I don’t see that changing manager works very often for recently relegated previously established Prem sides, now struggling in the league below and there are lots to choose from - unless you have chosen replacement in the wings.
Not sure why it is "spin". It is an opinion piece.
Spin now seems to have replaced PC as the term used to dismiss anything that someone disagrees with but can't actually find a reason to contradict.
You have made a statement about changing managers with recently relegated previously established prem sides not working. Do you have some stats to back that up or is that too "spin".
Or is changing manager only one factor that affects the liklehood of such a side being successful.
I have re read the article and i can not find any spin in what was said.
AFKA based his article on his feelings he has stated that in the thread in which it was posted.
He has based it on fact and offered up stats to support his case.
It is the majority view of those that post here that is not spin either.
It was the majority view of most people that left the North stand on Saturday i have never ever left the Valley with so many people saying the same thing,
If the ground was to be asked the same question i am sure there would be those for and against Mr Pardew.
This board is only a small reflection of Charlton fans but if it is viewed as a guide i would say that the feelings of the Majority of fans at Charlton feel the same.
I am prepared to give Pardew until after the Derby game - 8 games of which 4 are at home & 4 away. (not fair to only give him the next 5 when 3 are away, 1 to Brum)
I'm not just looking for better results, but also for better performances. Must be playing more as a team rather than 11 individulas and also playing a settled side - not Youga one weeek at left back, then Basey, then Cranie and also a strike force who know where the goal is.
It's pretty clear from all that was said last night that the board has given Mr Pardew an ultimatum and a time frame that if he doesn't turn it around within 5 or 6 matches, he's out.
So the voices who argued on the site - some of them quite passionately - that he should stay and were offended by the 'out' petition and by AFKA's article : what do they think about this ?
Do they feel the board is being too harsh and he should be given longer or indefinite time ? Genuinely interested...

There is no spin involved
