[cite]Posted By: Goonerhater[/cite]can we bring in a "loan manager"

    lol, interesting concept
  • we dont know the ins and outs of his contract but i would pressume it is the same as Dowies which (although never mentioned publically) was rumoured to be a 150K payoff.

i dont think that is too much money to pay out to get rid. if it is more then lets all chip in and get rid of him. We could have done with Barnsley scoring 5 or 6 today and then he would have had no choice but to leave

I was never a Pardew out man but over the last 3 weeks i have turned and today it was me singing you make Dowie look good feck off Pardew Now
  • you can't sack him now, when it's all about to get very exciting.
  • I haven't been at the last couple of games but that was the last straw for me today. Totally lost it I reckon.

    On your bike Stupor Al.
  • Today was horrible to watch at times, probably one of the only times I have just sat there without moving when we scored.

Im too in shock to say anything much yet, other than obviously he has to go, sacked or resigning.

    Steve Tilson for me
  • Someone, somewhere mentions Big Sam (unable to spell his surname). He would get my vote.
Furthermore, if they were to announce his appointment, i would greatfully pay a further couple of quid per game for him.
Our game by game tickets are one of the cheapest in the division. Put em up a couple of quid if it means getting rid of the tosser we currently have.
  • No, we can do it cheaper than that - we all bet a tenner on the opposition every game, pool the winnings and pay off Pards. And we can buy Ronaldo with what'll be left over.
  • mate you wont make much betting against us we are a nailed on certainty to loose
  • Where's Oggy when we need him?
    :-)

I think even his optimism might struggle after today to lift our spirits.....Pards going however would :-)
  • Only a few weeks ago I was stating that I thought people were being a bit hasty. Now my opinion has changed. Pardew has brought nothing to the team in the last few weeks. He has lost the support of the fans, and probably the players as well. He just seems to stand on the touch line with his arms folded, being passive in his reactions to us the fans, the opposition when they score. He doesn't bark orders or bring a sense of urgency to the play. It appears he has no management skills and his nonsense that he spouts out to the press and in the programmes is cringe worthy. Why have Todorov on the bench when he is our most influential attacker who can hold up play and link the midfield? Surely we were crying out for him today? If he wasn't fit in the first place or match ready why waste a place on the bench.

  • I'm afraid it now looks like the only realistic outcome. This really doesn't have the signs of an unfortunate little sticky patch - we're clearly moving backwards alarmingly quickly and he appears clueless on how to arrest the slump. Panicky, muddled selection and subbing; no obvious plan. I too was reluctant, but it seems the time has come. It'd be nice if it could be done without too much animosity building up.
