I have to say that I agree with Mascot on the Snu story. Next rumour will be that Barnsley are in Zabeel's sights, nailed on fact in the Yorkshire Evening Post!
Got a text from a Lpool supporting mate..HE was livid at the thought I must say, the pool fans have sort of built their hopes on Dubai getting them out of the skint pockets of their yank owners.
And suddenly Everton is mentioned...Made me laugh I must admit but it also highlights the fact that stories that in some way relates to pool fans got selling power.
Watching Final Score today I've worked out what's going on. Someone's overheard Bill Kenwright or someone from the Everton board talking about going to The Emirates, and has assumed they were talking about the Middle Eastern country not the Arsenal ground. (Everton lost 3-1 by the way)
Can somebody explain to me what "Lose Charlton - Dubai Everton" actually means and was that the headline in the printed version of the paper? If it's meant to be a pun, it's sure as hell passed me by?
CommentAuthorOggy Red CommentTime9 hours ago quote# 38 Posted By: Valley_floyd_red I went out and bought the Sun (something that I usually wouldn't do) just to read the story.
But you did what they wanted you to do. You bought their paper.
And that's the reason they write this utter tosh.
I realise my mistake.. I will never buy the sun ever again. Really. Never, ever, again.

Well it aint no "Gotcha" or "Up Yours Delors". If that's right, the headline writer needs a touch of the Belgranos.
