[cite]Posted By: LenGlover[/cite]The old memory might be playing tricks but we sold Killer to Derby and next match Tony Burman played and scored. I THINK that was Tony's debut. I can remember a few people saying that maybe we did the right thing selling killer as Burman could replace him. I wasn't convinced and the fact that we missed promotion proved me right sadly.

That was at the Den, last minute equaliser. Totally forgot where I was (The Ilderton Rd end) and was jumping around like a madman when it went in. Think the Lions there thought I was having a fit and left me alone
  • [cite]Posted By: TelinOz[/cite]Linvoy did get MOM on tv...was it against Leicester at Trumpton Park?...he looked like a real star....shame we let him go!

i think it was 0-0 on a sunday against birmingham... i've got it on a video somewhere(saddo alert)
  • [cite]Posted By: Red Fraggle[/cite]Shaun Newton. Can't remember it being the best but seems to stick out for me cos I was quite young and he was always one of my favourites from that day onwards.

I was there as well, against Derby, he played well and almost scored.
