Steve Brown - limited ability, but he made the best of what he had, and what he lacked in skill he more than made up for in desire, guts and commitment to the team
Leroy Ambrose - was pants, but really, really grafted and had a wicked 'fro
Les Berry - very average player, but never shirked a tackle or responsibility

It gave an interesting insight into the life of a not so 'big time' footballer. I always liked him anyway.
Yeah, good book, interesting to see who came across well and who (David Whyte, Curbs!) didn't - via Nelson of course.
Could of counted the amount of players i didn't like over a fifteen year period on one hand.
And me, one springs to mind imediately, step forward mr darren pitcher. (deliberate use of small case)
Barry Endean(awfull hair)

Steve Jones
Kish
Kevin Nicholls ( never given the chance though)
Kish (although I still think he was very underrated), Svensson and Barness for me.
Sir Charlie Wright.
Matt Tees. (Me as a kid: "Dad, why do they call him Matt?" ...."Because he's always on the floor, son").
LOL, GH !
Excluding a goal where the oppositon keeper drilled the ball against Matt's legs, did he ever score with his legs/feet?
