socks should be all red with a white band on them, there will have to be a third kit at some point specailly if we go up, doncaster will clash, sunderland, stoke southampton ect...
the away kit looks like somthing the speedway blokes wear, i think most people after waiting so long to see it are disapointed, it will be ok, 2 seasons maximum and the shirt sponser is only for 1 year at the moment so we need to go up, get a decent brand ie: addias umbro ect then we can move on upwards. its amazing how much space has been spent talking about it today..
I think they are both very naff, the sponsers logo in just a blocked out rectangle is what spoils it, they look like a lower division /sunday league tops no grace or style, prefer last seasons, it s a shame to lose the blue stripey number, i thought this was the best away kit in years.
I think they're both shite - and I don't really care if anyone thinks that over the top or not, it's just my view.
What on earth is that black and red line all about on the away kit - it totally detracts from the badge. And as for the sponsor and their logo - fuckin mickey mouse!
The same people who are complaining that they hate the shirts will be complaining that they can't buy them quick enough in a few days time.
Many peope slated the Denim and Seahawk kit but it was our fastest selling shirt ever.
It's a good deal, right up near the top of top earning deals for this division and with a firm that will sell the kits thru' stores in Charlton supporting areas.
There's also a lot of potential for expanding the deal and making use of the opportunities that being linked with a large retail chain offer.
Well done Steve Sutherland and his team for pulling off this deal. For all those slating the commercial team just think for a second about how easy it is to market a shirt sponsorship for a club that finished 11th in the second division.
people are entitled to have and voice opinions. just because you don't like the look of it doesn't mean you are "slagging the club off" in the same way that saying you do like it isn't "defending the club".

Only getting a one year sponsorship does show how tough things are and without the premiership you are not worth a . . . .

That's pretty much how it is. Outside the prem, where all the TV exposure is, good sponsorship deals are hard to find which is why Steve has done so well
If we were going for a one year deal, then it's a shame we couldn't have leveraged a connection with China and Zheng Zhi, something that would give us some exposure in China.

Chinese company's know about the Premiership and that's all. If the CCC doesn't get much coverage in the UK how much do you think it gets in China
Both kits would be just great ........ if only it wasn't for the gimmicky quirks in the design.
On the home strip, the white shoulder flash is unbalanced and irritating to me - otherwise it would be fine.
The away strip, in my opinion, is spoiled by the black & red banding being too high on the chest & clashing with the badge, and the sleeves would be better plain white.
It's the quirky design gimmicks that leave me with a sense of disappointment.
As somebody mentioned earlier - we can't wear either kit when we play away to Doncaster, Southampton, Sheff Utd, etc. So is the deservedly popular seahawk & denim shirt to be retained as a 3rd strip after all?

Thats a deal
A bit of commone sense by anyone would've seen that these kits looks awful. Something like ProStar would wear.
pro star they aint we arnt that good yet

Living in France I can explain Carbrini as any of the things in that other funny thread that AFKA started so no problems there either.
unsure about the home, think with that naff horizontal white strip down the other side symmetrical to the other stripe it would be fine but hey ho
