most of the 8/8.5 hours ...
  • I have sympathy Broadstairs, but at least he wasn't changing the position all the time, which I would find even more annoying?

He would have had my knees in his back, until he moved it forward.

I'm torn on this, the seats are allowed to recline. Not at mealtime but they are built to recline and so is everyone else's.

That said, I'm not sure how much 2 inches or reclining can improve a flight and I get how it pisses people off but you are allowed to do it. What pisses me off is people who leave it reclined during food without being told, those people are among lifes collection of arseholes

The "Charity" my dogs represent (mainly for insurance reasons) telling me to no longer post reports on their site of my dogs work with fundraising . Unless my dogs are raising funds for them! Kind of missing the point I think.......
I work for a charity but am not allowed to share my fundraising page at work for another charity.
One's an animal welfare charity, the other is a mental health charity.

It's not like I'll be stealing your donations!!! My chosen Charity and I have a different target market!
I don't work for the charity, we pay to be members. If I could afford the liability insurance for my dogs I wouldnt belong to any of them. But £20 a year for both dogs up against £30 per month per is a no brainier. 😉
  • Personally, I have no idea why the seats recline, when it's obvious that the front persons added comfort is at the back persons added discomfort.                                                               I would be considerate to the person behind, so would never recline, unless the seat was vacant (bet my neighbours are recliners) .
Yeah mate I agree, same as me parking miles away from everyone else wherever I go. Can guarantee some penis will park right next to me in their shitty focus full of paintwork damaging, door swinging, shitarse kids.

Or anyone who stands in my space in a queue of any kind

Turning the TV on to watch MOTD only to see it's been cancelled and replaced by Stacey Fucking Dooley.
Could be worse, could be Russ frigging Diane Abbott.
    That would be horrendous.

  • Some bloke called Reza is doing work experience with us.

Bloke seems really nice and has got on with tasks I've given him without fuss.

Unfortunately I'm just not sure I'll ever be able to separate the man from the useless peacock we had down at the Valley.

  • Stopped at services on way back from Plymouth...Subway, Greggs and Burger King concessions with communal seating.

Fancied a sandwich so looked in Greggs, 50p dearer to ‘eat in’ rather than ‘take away’. Thieving tossers didn’t get my business out of principle.

  • Have to park in the Memorial Car Park in Orpington each morning for work (have a pass as my office is right next door)

The lifts are bloody useless though so usually end up walking as you have to park on at least the 3rd floor and most days the lift is sitting at the bottom meaning that by the time it arrives on your level your already at the bottom of the stairs

Today I was on the 3rd floor, had a lift on the 4th floor and the second on the ground floor

Excellent I thought, dont have to walk I'll get that one coming down from the 4th.

Nope!!... Pressed the button long before the one on the 4th floor started to move, that went straight down and had to wait for the bloody one that was coming up from the bottom - Whats the bloody point!!... The machines are already against us!!!

Eat in is actually within the footprint of the Greggs shop (they usually have couple of tables) and the communal area outside is take away.

I just say I'm not eating in. Then just sit down and eat.
    The staff don't care.
  • That there isn’t really ever going to be a takeover
  • Trapped wind?
