  • I think we`ll need a rich sugar daddy with 3 grand in the petty cash tin to front the deal, then we reimburse him!! in order to get it done in time, unless someone knows Jonesy and he will pull it from ebay on trust.

I'm rather hoping that there may be someone who's willing to do this.

I've already e-mailed Steve Jones and got a reply so your second option may be possible.

I can only e-mail him and ask if we get 30 people willing to do it though.

Come on you Lifers - sort it out!
  • Go on then, I'm in.
  • sorry mate £50 is too much, for many people me included,if i told my missus i was paying £50 for a medal she would do her conkers in you can arrange it for A smaller contribution i will be interested but thats too much.
  • I really can't see why the club don't just offer him £5k for it and save the geezer the embarrassment of publicly selling off the family silver.
  • I'm up for chipping in Jimmy.
  • £2,751.00 is the top bid and 30 mins left to go...
  • And the auction closed - £2751 to "bidder one".
  • At least it went to someone who seems to collect Charlton memorabilia.

Personally, if I'd been able to buy it I would just wear it everyday.
