  • Charlton unchanged, when did that last happen?
  • So Pards has again gone with the young pacy forward approach, like last week - rather than Big Chris & lump it up to him.

No doubt. Pards logs on here and has taken our advice...... ;o)
  • I see super winger Ambrose appears to be on the left & JT supersub.

Dicko on the bench ..... like to see him get 25 mins. It keeps feeding him higher level experience.

From what we've read this week, Dicko seems well excited to be part of the Charlton 1st team.
I like that in a player!
  • Sodje's last match suspended and so far no recall.
  • I see Sodjes not going to play on Tuesday due to a hurt hand, maybe Reading have said no so maybe a call back later in the month is on the cards as they dont want him cup tied. I mean he has a sore hand
  • There's no need for secrecy, if Reading don't want him cup-tied then a phone call to Pards is all it takes and no need to hide anything from us.
  • If Sodje hasn't trained this week because of his cut hand - he'd be lacking match fitness anyway.

I doubt if there is a cup-tie conspiracy with Reading ...... usually clubs just say they don't want a player cup tied and a loan club accepts that.
  • Looks like a good attacking line up. Lets hope the front two can really kick start our season.
  • Is there any hope of Internet commentary anywhere apart from the Blackpool OS?
  • Ipswich v Stoke is the commentary on 5 Live Extra - so that's that, then.

I've got a point-to-point wireless connection so my bandwidth is a bit variable. Really slow today!
  • I can hear the booing echoing around the Valley.

Only 2 goals in 9 minutes and a nervous Valley crowdf are really slagging off the players.....

    ;o)
  • A few months ago I listened to Sky Sports round-up but then they stopped that for overseas users. Then I found Talk Sport which had match updates. This week that's no longer available.

    What's going on?
  • Yess. Great stuff. Why didn't Pards listen to us sooner?
