    Time will tell whether it works or not, but I'm pleased to see Pardew varying it and bringing in a second striker.

    Basey is injured, let's hope Chris Powell is fully fit.

    Interesting that Semedo is on the bench and replaced by Ambrose. With Holland, Reid and ZZ also in midfield I wonder who is going to play on the left and right flanks?

    Ambrose on the right flank & Reid on the left.
    Wouldn't mind betting they play narrow pushing out wide when we attack.

    Holland & ZZ orthodox centre mid.
    Not a lot of ball winning bite - but plenty of tidy passing, running & hard work.

    Ex-Palace keeper Kiraly in goal for them.

    It looks as though Semedo is getting a rest instead, I'm not sure I'd want to change the midfield too much, there are three changes already with Semedo, Sam and Thomas out. plus Reid going on to the left wing. An experienced looking midfield and its good to see Pardew freshening it up.
