  • [cite]Posted By: Rothko[/cite]How about we do something simple, like wear traditional club colours, like Red at home, White for away games, or won't that look good with jeans? ;O)

I agree. White and black shorts away.
  • Well, I didn't see that coming!

Clicked on the topic as I was intrigued at how the on-line shop had illicited so many posts - I did not anticipate 2 pages of fighting and non-aramotic faecal matter...

I think it's pink Charlton branded handbags for Henry and WIWALB ;-)
  • The White kit we had a couple of years back was ledge in my opinion, probably my favourite away kit for ages.
  • the red bus one? I liked that too!

  • wowsers.

As a new forum member and a 4 year season ticket holder...after reading through this thread.

At first I thought, "Good to have a member of the board getting some input from the masses"...
But after reading,...... well, I have to say that if another serious fan or hack could see the way that the Directors and the supporters get along from some of these previous posts .. well its kind of embarrassing quite frankly.
    Constructive debate. Not handbags gents!

Is it normally like this people ???
  • [cite]Posted By: WSS[/cite]who's that twat

I am sorry it was the only picture I could find...I spat on the floor as I was uploading it you can be assured of that!

i'm sure you're not the only one thinking that, and it saddens me. One of the key things in the creation of this site was a place for Charlton supporters to chat, debate without fear of abuse, antagonism and wind ups. There are plenty of others that cater for that.

No, its not normally like this, and i hope you hang around.

First Tuesday of every month is "Random Argument Day". People who join in are called Debating Officers. We have had plenty of RADDO's on here I can assure you.

It's becoming more and more common, unfortunately.

I don't think it's the norm but maybe I'm biased. I don't think this one thread is an example of this forum or of how debates normally go. Don't want to re-hash the whole debate but I do think that sometimes some people have an expectation that I'm going to agree with whatever is said and not put my own views over or challenge statements made about the club. I don't think that that is what the role is about. Good ideas will stand or fall on their own merits but need to be tested

Stick arounf Fazza and enjoy the site. There's a lot of good stuff and even the occasional good debate. Just don't do any Oi! Henry posts ; - )
  • this all stems from a lack of understanding of the "job description" of the F'sD.

Hopefully the club will rectify this next election time.

    West Side for Director.
  • Fazza. We have petty arguments that occasionally get taken too seriously, moan about Charlton in whatever way we can find (if I was carried in a sedan by page 3 girls to the ground to watch us win 10 - 0 and back again, I might find that the free beer given to me was 0.5C too warm), discuss certain people's love lives or write weird stuff like Stu of SE7 does. Other than that don't mention the football!
