Has Jones still got the players? From what I have seen on Saturday and tonight their body language from the start has been awful.
    Not AGAIN???

FFS he lost the dressing room last November too!

Did people on here genuinely think there wouldn’t be periods like this where we play badly and lose 3 or 4 in a row? We’re a promoted league one side who started well but were always going to go through this at some point.

Think everyone knew we would have those moments but to be exposed like this is alarming. We dont give ourselves a fighting chance playing this way.

Losing games, yes it will happen but it shouldnt be happening in this manner.
    This.

No issue with losing 3 or 4 on the trot to teams in the top 6.

But being carved open time & time again is another.

Strikers not able to score goals all season, and now we are starting to concede goals.

Without being able to put the ball in the back of the net hopefully we will not go on a bad run.   And you said we'd draw

Think some need to adjust their expectations slightly. Stay behind the team, we aren't going up and will go through dips in form. This league is incredibly tough. As it stands we are 10 points off the bottom 3 after 17 games...

Someone needs to put the signs back up around the Valley

Seems to have helped him find the dressing room again last year.

I know he had a heart attack last year, but doesn’t sound in good health, does he? doesn’t sound confident speaking.

Stoke player down clutching his ankle, and then Berry goes down and the ref gives us a free kick just inside our half

Been some amazing attempts at spelling Kaminski tonight
That's the least we should be worried about tonight.

We must not over react, but at the next window, we need to change it around. I reckon Bree will go back to the saints and Hernandez is also out. I would also loan out Apter [who is lightweight for this league] and Karoy who is not good enough. We need need to strengthen at the back and midfield. I dont think Doc is not good enough.

I dont think the forwards are our main problem - they get zero service.

These last 2 games show we have been in a false position and if we stay up, it will be a great season

We unfortunately seem to be on the way to a bad run.

This is where NJ makes his money and the players make theirs. Need NJ to learn from his mistakes tactically as we all knew eventually the other teams will analyse us and get a grip with how we play. Jones needs to change this and our players need to respond.

One thing I'll say for Kaminski, he might be the only player in our team whose free kicks clear the first man
  • HT 3-0...two freak goals from almost the same spot on the field, and a third after a blatant free kick not given, they ain't all that great, and NJ needs to earn his crust at half time and get some spunk into this side (figuratively speaking), just feel for the die hard supporters who travel midweek for this to be served up...f'in wake up Addicks..🤦‍♂️

    HT: Stoke 3-0 Charlton

Only fair us to give them a head start, at least thats what the conversation between Jones and Coventry sounded like, as they walked off the pitch - Meaning I fully expect us to come flying out of the blocks for the second half and win 3-4

Jones attempting to head that ball 15/20 yards out for a throw in rather than 5 back to the keeper tells you a lot about his confidence in Kaminski

8/11 of those players were playing in League One for us last season.
1 of the others was playing L1 elsewhere, another got relegated from the Champ and the other was out of favour with his club
If you'd have told me at the end of last season, that we'd be starting Coventry, Docherty & Berry, away at Stoke, 25th November 2025, I'd have been very worried. Our midfield was hardly strong in League One, let alone the level above.
