RAMSAY: 7.5 - up against a very tricky winger in the first half (reportedly, £15 million pounds worth plus £5 million add-ons) but did ok. A superb goal saving tackle in the second half

GILLESPHEY: 8 - defended outstandingly well and continues to enhance his reputation as a goal machine. What he lacks in pace he makes up for in animal cunning

COVENTRY: 8 - worked his socks off and helped us wrestle control of the game in the second half
CAREY: 9 - took the game by the scruff of the neck and scored the decisive goal

BELL: 8 - another outstanding signing. His quality and coolness under pressure are a great asset, as is his versatility and ability to fill in at left wing back
KELMAN: 6.5 - had a decent shot on goal in the second half but struggled to get into the game
OLAOFE: 6,5 - worked hard but, having turned his man well to create an opportunity, he should have done better with his first half chance
Referee: 7 - hardly noticed him, which is always a good sign. I wonder how many corners have been given this season in the EFL for goalies holding onto the ball for more than 8 seconds
