Portsmouth on terrible form now. Only Norwich are worse.
  • Derby out of nowhere with 5 league wins in a row!
Just predictably tight really, we're only two defeats from dropping to 16th

Eustace is an excellent manager. You knew that once Derby had a few players back they'd rise up the table.

Indeed he's a bit like NJ. Not "sexy" but gets results.

Leicester's hearing with the Premier League is next week... Might find out before the end of the year if, and what points deduction they'll get.

Although appeals could see it drag into next year.

Why its taken so long to get this arranged seems ridiculous, why couldn't the process have been started earlier in the summer, so we avoid an example with Sheff Wed in 2018/19 where they got their penalty after the season ended so it carried over into the next season.

What happens if that also applies to Leicester, yet they get promoted back to the Premier League, naturally that penalty will come into force (a bit like Formula One) where they'll serve it the moment they're back down in the Championship, but who knows how long that would be for.

The only times I’ve seen Preston this season were tonight and when we played them.
Small likes to do the ‘sshh’ celebration to the oppo fans doesn’t he?

If Rovers hold the line and win, I hope they'll hush him back.

agreed, but very similar to how he was with us:
    - fast ✅
    - agile and skillful ✅
    - Hugely overhit crosses ✅
    - awful shots ✅

Decent point up there....they have certainly improved since then.

    Down to 16th now.

Sheff Utd starting to pull their socks up, a big game vs Pompey coming up too now.

Still have an 8 point cushion, a 6 place cushion and about to get 3 of the hardest fixtures out the way, and in the middle of an injury crisis not going to start panicking yet

Also a tendency to mentally switch off in his own box.

I said after we beat them that they will finish nearer the top than bottom and we would do well to finish above them

Oxford look shit though - basically gifted the first goal and then the second one was just one long ball over the top and scored 1v1 - done nothing else all night - they basically look like a worse version of us

Its November, cant be worrying about the League table yet.

If anyone thinks that Oxford arent going to close the gap further, or that the gap wont open again between now and May etc., well you need a f**king strong wake up call - Everyone can beat everyone at this level.

You can target teams tho surely. Oxford are 100% relegation fodder and we could potentially be. Our aim is to stay up this season, so teams like that Norwich Pompey are our target challenge. Anything else is a bonus.

it’s practically more than downplaying our ability.

Yet we're still closer to the Play-Offs than we are the Relegation zone...
