Yes. But I only did a couple of away games last season. Already done two this season and probably do another ten or so, plus any home cup games, so will be at 600+ next season, which is where they usually start at.sam3110 said:
So a season ticket holder should have 460 points minimum?MillwallFan said:
pretty much yeah. So you get 230 with your season ticket and any away games and cup games on top of that. It rolls over two seasons, the season we’re in and the last seasonCroydon said:
Out of interest, what is 500 points at Millwall in terms of tickets and matches attended? Do you get 10 points per game like we do?MillwallFan said:
Just missed out. I’m on about 500 points and would’ve been able to buy in the next stage but alas they all went before we got to that.bolloxbolder said:So did you get a ticket @MillwallFan?Oh well, the stick for me. Going to be the first Charlton Millwall game I’ve not watched in the flesh since… well I can’t remember. Sometime in the late 80’s I think.0 -
I have a number of Millwall mates and was thinking about coming over and getting hospitality with them but terrified we will lose to them and then the endless piss takes.......0

I cant recall an away game at Millwall where there hasn't been Charlton fans in the home stands so your point is?eaststandmike said:I can’t recall a home game against Millwall were there hasn’t been away fans in the home stands1 -
I was replying to a post earlier up the thread as well as responding to the lols I got when I said my Millwall mate has four tickets in the East Stand. So what’s your point?cblock said:

We will certainly give them a good game and i agree we have a great chance to beat them. One thing we can say is, you know what you're going to get with us. Well drilled, solid at the back, every man knowing their job. However it depends which Millwall turns up though, the one that got a great win at Norwich, or the one that looked like a relegation team v Middlesbrough. I'm inclined to think that because it's against us, it'll be the former.Braziliance said:
We are gonna beat them at home, mark my words.Chris_from_Sidcup said:
Bold to assume we will score.Braziliance said:Makes me laugh all this who cares more stuff, we both care way more than other games.
They will celebrate each goal like a Wembley win as will we, all there is to it. Unless there's a higher stakes games like relegation or play-offs, this will be our biggest game of the season, the pair of us.
Can't wait.
This is our best chance in my lifetime since 96'. I have never believed we could get a result until now.
We match them well, I would say their squad is a bit better, but we match them far better than other previous Charlton sides which were packed with pathetic footballers, our managers aren't too far apart in terms of quality. (A neutral would probably edge Neil)
Our home record is great, and it will take a very good team to beat us now, if they do it, fair enough, they will have deserved it, but we aren't a soft touch like we have been for well over 10 years. This team is better than Powell's Charlton & Bowyers imho, just think we have more resilience and belief.
Josh Edwards, Lloyd Jones, Conor Coventry, Ramsay, Bell, Tanto, etc, these players aren't like the wimps we have had roll over in this fixture.0 -
Can't wait for the atmosphere of this game. Just under 4 weeks away and practically sold out the covered end and the 2 central blocks in the West Stand.

It's also the first game after the international break (which most people hate), so we'll basically have a 2 week build up for it.Char1t0n said:Can't wait for the atmosphere of this game. Just under 4 weeks away and practically sold out the covered end and the 2 central blocks in the West Stand.1 -
In all fairness I think the build-up has been there since the fixtures were released 😄Chris_from_Sidcup said:

haven't seen millwall fan on here today - is he on holiday? i just watched the highlights of their game from yesterday - they looked like relegation material - it was all boro - the only millwall highlight was their £5m signing from boro, coburn, missing a sitter of a header - i've not seen him before but 'he's shit in the air for a tall bloke' was certainly in evidence there

As I said pre season they are very cocky at the moment and it doesn’t suit them, they have a decent side away from the fortress Den at the moment but nothing special as found out yesterday
Suddenly their 500 page thread on us on spanners online has gone very quiet since they can’t be bully boys for points
I expect us to give them a competitive game at The Valley and I’ll be no more confident of that given the history
Anyone that gets a spanner a ticket in our end for this game should have a rethink, whilst it’s a 12.30 this should be electric in both ends, may the best team win
Mind the gap spanners 😉1 -
Bollocks to that, may Charlton win regardless of who is the better team!Southendaddick said:As I said pre season they are very cocky at the moment and it doesn’t suit them, they have a decent side away from the fortress Den at the moment but nothing special as found out yesterday

Doughty went off injured yesterday for them with a hamstring injury, wonder if he’ll miss the game against us now?0

There was an issue with my account after I booked a Wembley ticket. It came through ok but then my login wasn’t recognised, have had to set a new one up and all my purchase history has gone. Thankfully a mate got me a ticket for the game.0

Shit day at the office yesterday. Neil got a few things wrong and was man enough to hold his hands up about it. The scoreline flattered them though. A 0-1 or even a 1-1 would’ve been a fairer result. We always have a bad result every couple of months. (Think Plymouth and Blackburn away last season). It’s good to get it out of the way now so we can iron out any creases in time for our big game in September…. V Watford. 😁
Two games in so very early days. Just as I wasn’t talking about winning the league when we won at Norwich last week I won’t be worrying about relegation after a shit result the following week. As I always say, give a season half a dozen games or so before you start panicking or getting too excited. On the plus side I managed to sort us some tickets yesterday so will be at The Valley for the game after all. Think it’s going to be an interesting one.6 -

He was actually bang unlucky with that header. Comes off the inside of the post, across the face of the goal, off the other post and out. That goes in and it’s a different result yesterday. But not too despondent. It’s a marathon not a sprint. We’ll be fine this season.“Relegation material” 😂0 -

can only say what i see - u were abysmal in them highlights - wave after wave of boro attacks - a bit like us at bristol yesterday second half but fair play, they managed to keep us out - you are right though - will be interesting at the valley in a few weeks time and we'll get a good picture of what's what - shame doughty looks like he's picked up another injury but at least u have coburnMillwallFan said:

Yeah you can really get a true picture of a game from a 2 minute long highlight clip 🤣DOUCHER said:

We’ve got cover for Doughty in Bryan and Sturge. Bet you’ve got your fingers crossed we pick up a few more injuries before our game, then you might just have a chance to add to your tally of 12 (twelve) wins in 74 attempts v us. 4 (four) in the last 35. #smallwall 😁1 -

Apparently we only have 11 wins in those 74 games not 12! I can only conclude that you see number 12 incoming!
Also, it's 4 wins in the last 34, not 35.
I'm amazed that we appear never to have met in the cup. Seems almost impossible in over 100 years.2 -

My stats are correct if you include those two Bob Anglo Italian cup games. Your stats are league games only I believe.superclive98 said:

Not in the Kent Cup matches i went to. From my admittedly failing memory, we won all 3 matches without conceding a goal in 1975. Your lot didn't take the defeat well post match.MillwallFan said:

Just looked at the stats and Middlesbrough had more possession, more corners, more shots and more shots on target. You had 1 shot on target all game so to claim a 1-1 would've been a fairer result is a bit of a stretch.MillwallFan said:Shit day at the office yesterday. Mind the gap after the second game of the season when we're a point above them? How many times does one man have to say a game means a lot to him before people stop saying 'I thought you didn't care?'
Jeezy peeps man...5
