    It's 0-1 you tease 😃
  • Lovely little dinked first time pass from Kaminski out to Edwards, haven’t had a keeper able to do that for years

    Charlton score first. 1-0 ;)
  • Really good counter attacking move but Purrington just nips in to stop Leaburn
  • Ooo should be 0-2, lovely cross from TC, but Purrington gets his head to the ball to guide it away from a Leaburn who was just getting ready to bury it
  • Leaburn close to get his and our second after a nice cross from Apter...

Don't worry, its already charging its way down the River Cam, a few University students have had their punts sunk, but they're acceptable casualties
First wash some of those dirty tax dodging students have had for a while.

  • Really want to see Mbick get into the game to see how looks alongside first team players.

Just held up the ball well and laid it off to start an attack.
  • Lembikisa doing the simple things well, want to see him attempt a long ball but we’ve no idea what he’s been told to do, might just not want to risk losing possession
  • We're getting into this game now, and testing the keeper more, still 0-1 last 6 minutes of the half

Not seen him offer anything so far (including the last game) that Zach Mitchell couldn’t offer.
  • Leaburn celebrates by lifting his shirt to reveal a t shirt emblazoned with ‘Good Luck Kayne’
Are there rumors that Kayne is off? Have I missed that?
  • Greg saying they expect the other trialist (Bennett) to come on later
  • What was the build up to the goal and was it head, shoulder, knees or toes by Leaburn 🤔

Had a rough couple of minutes since I posted this
  • Trialist...whoever he is, having a solid first half and doing ok in tough conditions...
  • Why dos so few of our throw ins put the opposition under pressure and more likely puts us under pressure.

  • Apologies if it's been mentioned already, but this is Cambridge's last pre-season game (the L1 and L2 season starts next Saturday), which might explain some of their intensity and physicality.
As long as we don't pick up an injury I see this as a good thing.
    A proper work out.

Signing for Millwall later this afternoon

Docherty shot, goalie fumbled, Leaburn on the spot.
  • Yes, Bell will do for me, looking more and more composed, and can see what Nathan liked about him...
  • Lovely ball from JRC to Apter who picks out Mbick but the angle is too tight
  • That was a good move with Apter finding Mbick, who had no right to really get a touch, but is easily saved... Hope Cambridge enjoyed that tough tackle from Jones!!
  • Lovely move. JRC sprays out to the right to 🦖, he cuts in and gets the ball into the box and Mbick nearly gets on the end of it but the GK collects.

Costello > Apter > Mbick, but shot just unable to beat the keeper, but a passage of play very nice
