I don’t know too much about him, but he has made a decent number of appearances (from starts) in recent seasons.
Welcome Amari.
Decent video of his farewell. Comes across a well-spoken and smart chap.https://youtu.be/mQVJyXQCz6Q?si=S9bcXBr0E2mJVGvC

Really good signing that. The big fear with Gillesphey is that his lack of pace will expose the area where he’s weakest again, which is chasing back after a ball over his head. A lot of his mistakes came from those sorts of balls over the top and faster attacking teams will look to exploit that. He’s best when he can win the first header or engage a defender square on. Bell offers pace and power in those situations and we can switch between them depending on if we need to not get caught out or if we might have a bit more of the ball. Does potentially allow us to push Ramsay to RWB if we need to in a pinch because we’ll have the recovery pace in Bell4

I know nothing of him, seems another solid signing, with NJ quoting he has pace and power. Been a champ and a season as a prem player the last few years, so definitely an upgrade.1

When the moon hits your eye,
like a big pizza pie that Amari'i
After his second-half-of-season performances and the winner at Wembley I assume that Macca Gillespiephey will be taken off scapegoat duties this year so, just in case ...
When the ball's in our net,
And it's come down our left,
That's Amari'i
Let's hope it doesn't come to that though.5 -

The sort of transfer I'd expect a newly promoted side to make, rather than one that catches your attention.8

Excellent stuff, another step closer to Europe, well Thomas Sandgaard did say Europe in 5 years…3

Intwresting, we got him in over Akin, which I’m guessing is dead in the water, wages or who you know and trust?0

Underwhelmed. Another REG - Too short for CB - not enough pace for wing back.
And too old ...12 -
Don’t know much about him so can’t comment but in Jones we trust etc, etc2

Personally, I’m viewing this whole window as bringing in the players that can keep us up, even if that means 21st, and I think the 4 in are all good additions so far. It’s great to be linked with the Galbraith’s of this world, but we have to accept we probably don’t have the financial resources to win those types of players (we may get one marquee/well touted signing)
Re picking up 2 players from relegated Luton, the same could’ve been said for Doughty and Lockyer the year we went down. Both of them went on to deliver after they left us.This continues to be a good window imo and I think Bell will deliver13 -

Was extremely impressed with him when he played against us at The Valley for Fleetwood was their stand out player, very pleased with this signing4

I am really happy with this, have wanted him to be a Charlton player for about 8 years? Better late than never.
In our home loss to Blackburn 2 nil in 2020, I remember watching him and thinking how is he not playing the prem, had every attribute as a full back you could ask for.
Obviously as that was 5 years ago and his prime years are now gone, I am not expecting the same player, but this is a very sensible transfer.
Slight concern over the injuries that Luton are mentioning, but hopefully we manage that.
Welcome Amari'i from someone who has signed you on fm/career mode for 8 years 😂5 -

Joking aside, I'm starting to feel optimistic which is not my usual state of existence. We're signing people I don't have to look up on Google.0 -
Another good signing - ability, character, experience & I can see this as a real positive for our young Jamaicans to have a senior player who's walked/walking the same path.1

Not convinced on this one tbh, but obviously hope I'm wrong!
