    God knows but I’ve heard our top earners are on roughly 30k a week so might not be far off that.

    Yes. From what I’ve heard we have been paying decent wages since we’ve been back in the championship. Not as much as the top end with their PL parachute payments obviously but around the average for the league. The thing we didn’t spend money on previously was transfers. We were always after cheap deals. Now we seem to be doing both. 

    Although we made 20 million in player sales last season and the money from the new TV deal obviously helps.

You implied previously that my judgement is bad but if that’s what your Millwall mates are telling you about our football under Neil then it’s them whose judgement is poor.     most of them are typical millwall - they sit at home and watch on a dodgy stick and moan rather than actually supporting / helping the club by attending games - all say the football is dull / functional - i'm in a 'both teams to score' predictions group and there are a few millwall fans in there and we all agreed never to pick a millwall game coz a low scoring result with a 'nil' in it is a very frequent occurrence, whether a win or lose - whoever scores first type stuff and very predictable - not saying our football last year was the beautiful game but should at least be a bit different with the business we are doing

    So you think that if a game is low scoring then the actual football must be dull? Yeah, I used to think that too… when I was about 12. 😁

    You’ve done some good business but most of the players you’ve signed are from L1 or a team that has just been relegated to L1 so there’s an element of risk there. And it’s not like you got them on the cheap either. 

    For the record, I think you’ve got enough to stay up, but it will certainly be an interesting season for both teams I think.

    lol no mate I love the bloke and would never question him but he truly is worth the ticket price. He kicks every ball and every moment seems like torture for him how he doesn’t have a heart attack I have no clue

You implied previously that my judgement is bad but if that’s what your Millwall mates are telling you about our football under Neil then it’s them whose judgement is poor.     most of them are typical millwall - they sit at home and watch on a dodgy stick and moan rather than actually supporting / helping the club by attending games - all say the football is dull / functional - i'm in a 'both teams to score' predictions group and there are a few millwall fans in there and we all agreed never to pick a millwall game coz a low scoring result with a 'nil' in it is a very frequent occurrence, whether a win or lose - whoever scores first type stuff and very predictable - not saying our football last year was the beautiful game but should at least be a bit different with the business we are doing 
    So you think that if a game is low scoring then the actual football must be dull? Yeah, I used to think that too… when I was about 12. 😁

    You’ve done some good business but most of the players you’ve signed are from L1 or a team that has just been relegated to L1 so there’s an element of risk there. And it’s not like you got them on the cheap either. 

    For the record, I think you’ve got enough to stay up, but it will certainly be an interesting season for both teams I think. 
    no, i've never thought low scoring necessarily means dull - i'm satisfied that millwall are a dull team given the opinions of the fans that i talk to so lets not go round in circles or invent things i haven't said

    Think after the disastrous Edwards experiment he was exactly what you need. You'll be solid midtable at least , assume the main thing now is holding onto Ivanovic even if the random Fab Romano rumours seem to have come to nothing.

    Yep. I would say he’s the best we’ve had since Jackett. 

    Would be absolutely gutted if Ivanovich went now. Not so much Tanganga

    No confusion here - millwall, like other historically lower division clubs, view the championship as some sort of super league which is now miles away from league 1 - this belief is fuelled by the money sloshing about and paying silly money for average players - only 1 way we will find out and i'm confident that our manager who turned millwall down, knows what he's doing. Alex Neil is a safe pair of hands, i'll give you that.

    We have made some fantastic signings and have a fantastic manager but this division is a relentless one. I’m confident, but we really do have our work cut out. Should be good fun,

    That's Wrexham's recruitment plan though and has been for several seasons. They overpay to sign players that wouldn't normally choose them.
