Mike Ashley in trouble

supping a pint during the game and downing it to boot - anyone see it - it might have been non alcoholic to be fair to him but if not

is it one rule for billionaires and one rule for the man on the street - be interested to see if anything does come of it.

  • This really angered me as well Ledge, I would love to have a bev watching the footie. I don't know how he got it into the stand, I have tried at many grounds and have not had a chance of enjoying the footie with bev in the stand.
  • good on him LOL

I have tried but that poxy moses geezer get s me everytime
  • According to that Times article about the state of the modern game, a spurs fan received a 3 year ban for rushing back to the entrance whilst holding a beer in his hand. Would be hilarious if Mike had to leave Newcastle because of this!
  • 3 year ban

HAs teh world or football gone mad?

I hate it when our Nazi's go in 6-7 handed and man handle people out for a sneaky can off beer
OK we all know its not allowed just take it off them tell them next time your out and your being watched.

    Seems a little OTT

He should be punished and rightly so, and the Stewards responsible for that area of the ground disciplined.

Edit: Have just realised this is 6 years old!

Haven't you met bev? She's the high class escort that'll do anything, even come to a Charlton game

  • Pity the Stewards can't spot people abusing Goalkeepers as well as they spot a can of beer.

    Welling isn't too far away
  • Hasn't it theoretically been "up for sale" for years now? I feel like it was not for sale in the way Charlton are "not for sale." The question is, will there be buyers. And given they're in the Prem and I'm guessing they're profitable you'd think there would be buyers.

Go on Roland, make my day.

First time seeing this thread... Love the Cat Stevens (or Yusuf Islam) reference under the picture.
  • This definitely needs to be on the government's agenda once they've dealt with ISIS and Brexit and they need to come down on him and his ilk who flout such important rules and come down on him hard.

Utter scum and a terrible example to set for all of our children and will hopefully get a custodial for this. Let this go without severe punishment and next thing you know they'll be meth amphetamine- fuelled orgys and nude rowdiness in the West stand.

Not in my name Ashley, not in my name.
  • Seeing quite a few similarities between Newcastle and us in terms of desperately wanting the owner to sell up and fuck off.

Some Newcastle fans have formed a protest group aimed at getting him to invest in the club and give Benitez funds.

Part of their statement says: "if you cannot attract a buyer that meets your valuation then you must understand that this is because of the significant amount of investment now required to restore our football club to what it should be".

Ashley can surely see that spending money and keeping the club competitive in the Premier League is the best way to attract potential buyers. Not by forcing a manager that is far too good for them to inevitably walk away and possibly leave them facing another relegation to the Championship.

Where were Newcastle when Ashley took over? Newcastle had a good run in 95/96 and has some decent players when Sir Bobby Robson was in charge

I'm not really sure Newcastle fans know what their club should be. All fans want their club to do well. Big support doesn't mean they deserve anything more than any other club

Don’t think you can compare even slightly to what Ashley has done at Newcastle to what Roland has done to us.

totally agree. We are a million miles away from where Newcastle are.

True but the fact they're in the premier league earning 100m+ per season and their biggest transfer is still 16m for Michael Owen from 13 years ago is pretty bad on their part. Especially when they see newly promoted clubs spending way way more than them.

And yes the big support doesn't mean they're entitled to anything but on the other hand surely it also shows what they could achieve if they had an owner who was prepared to invest.
  • Fuck off from Nrewcastle Mike

see you in the Boardroom when you buy us

Id have him every day of the week as our owner

Would he invite old mate, Tony Jiminez, back??
