Not a great half but still go in 1-0 up. Kept our defensive shape well plus a couple good saves from Amos.
We need to just settle a little and put our foot on the ball. The front three have struggled to maintain possession. Holmes has drifted in and out and Billy Clarke has been completely anonymous.
If we can have give minutes of possession at the start of the half it should settle our nerves a bit.

Re the offside decision, this is from the FA web site... It is correct because:
a player CAN NOT be in an offside POSITION in their own half
a player CAN commit an offside OFFENCE in their own half if they go back into their own half from an offside position
With the exception of offences in the goal area, throughout the Laws every free kick is awarded from the place where the offence occurs so it is logical that this should also apply to offside

He didn't get hit I don't think. He just crumpled to the floor. I genuinely have no idea what happened. I'm worried he passed out. He's standing now and having a laugh with Karl. But I was genuinely worried about a Fabrice Muamba situation there.
