    Green St is Upton Park and is almost exclusively asian in ethnic make up. I'm not surpised they have drawn a line in the sand and are protecting their livelihood.

    Hope everyone in effected areas has a safe night, although they live in the middle of the cherry orchard nowhere near any shops I'm slightly worried for my family.

    This is a disgraceful situation and all the politicians need to stop their stupid point scoring, they need to put their differences aside and try and find a workable way to end this NOW, before it spreads to the entire country.

    I do not understand why the police dont steam in and really hurt some of these rioters,  hurt and not kill.  That would definitely put an end to a lot of the trouble .. the scourge is spreading because the TV us showing looters and thieves and rioters simply getting away with it. This is just the start of widespread civil insurrection. Birmingham centre is under siege.  How long befofe Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Leicester, Nottingham and many other large towns experience wholesale trouble.

    That may be correct, but as I said 30 mins ago. I've just been out in Bromley town centre & all is quiet.

    Do something constructive about the situation not just have a dig coz he lost the mayoral seat



    He did do something constructive - he employed more OB, unfortunately the hooray henry that succeeded him decided to make a load of them redundant. Cause and effect...
