  • Can see the smoke from Croydon rising into the sky from our house near Bromley.

    The situation is now scary.
  • if it comes over to bexleyheath/erith, there will be people fighting back.
  • Once somebody innocent gets hurt, or god forbid, dies, then people will turn and it's going to get very nasty indeed.
  • Seen the pictures in Woolwich.
  • Are you serious about Orpington and Bromley? Gotta go there this evening.
Family all live there so fecking hope not.
  • I find the whole thing very depressing

I hope those close and in all this come out of it with family and friends untouched.

It also makes my blood boil, I have some strong views on this, but am old enough to realize that times like these don't call for expressing them.

    Very sad.

There's an irish bloke from Croydon on BBC News, having a glorious rant about the eejits down there. The blaze at the carpet warehouse is HUGE.
  • Think Police will advise no football over next couple of days to avoid gatherings of crowds and them being unable to cope. Someone claims that there are shops on fire in Shenfield near Brentwood, which I find particularly hard to believe.
    Shenfield? You're kidding!
  • My bro just sent my a pic of a pretty much gutted JD sports in Woolwich.
  • Diane Abbott MP is the biggest hypocrite going. I can't watch her, had to turn over!

  • The pictures of Croydon are really shocking.  I can't see the night passing without innocent people being killed.
  • Floyd Montana the whole point of putting that small quote was that he was spouting off a load of old tosh which you would say to a 5 year old who has just been a naughty boy.
just asking for context, no need to get arsey
  • Clapham Junction now. 100-200 people with bricks etc kicking in windows
  • I'm sleeping with one hand on my baseball bat tonight
  • Watching Croydon on the news now. Absolutely shocking fires. Seems quiet here in Eltham at the moment.

Wasn't getting arsey? Depends how you read it.

  • Any 'real' news on Eltham, Mottingham, Orpington, Erith?? please
  • Downham is on the edge my mum lives above Tescos on the high street saying lots of people gathering
  • Clapham Junction now. 100-200 people with bricks etc kicking in windows
Twitter seems to be moving these idiots around....Sky saying Clapham Junction done over and no police there as they were called to other trouble spots....Cameron on his way home now......COBRA meeting tomorrow....I will not comment on this.
  • If this continues I am sure that normal people will fight back against the vermin and it will get very messy. It is pretty much against the Police and retailers at the minute, but how long before they take a fancy to robbing residential homes - the US Bill of Rights declared peoples 'right to keep and bear arms' may come into force, if you get my drift.... Lets face it the Police won't stop them.
  • Primark in Birmingham is apparently now burning
mate confirmed that, looting started in brum, primark burning right now
  • Cameron is returning from his Holiday.
  • Eltham McDonalds done according to @Ledge's mum.
  • please stay away from the valley... we aint got enough money to build a new ground as well as all these players!
  • That fire in Croydon is INSANE
  • Cameron is returning from his Holiday.
That's a shame. Though with any luck by the time the useless, ineffective toffee-nosed Eton c*** gets back it will have spread to deepest rural Oxfordshire and he can experience it first-hand.
