    got to make a big delivery in N17  tomorrow, boss let me off it today due what happend but said tuesday no exceptions. i can honestly say i wont put much of a fight if an angry mob wants to torch my ford transit van and burn the recycling bins in the back, im going on holiday on saturday and would love to go in one peice, hopefully the area will be calmer tomoz and i wont have to much trouble getting there.

    Personally I would like to see greater use of water cannon (and I would add dye) by the police and a much stronger response by them overall.

    I just think bringing in the Army (who as we know are already overstretched, and the boys in between Afghan deployments have enough on their plates already) would send the wrong signals to the rest of the world and add kudos to the scum rightly identified by Clegg as ''needless, opportunistic theft and violence''

    With the greatest of respect, does your boss not realise the seriousness of the situation and the damage that could be caused to you/your vehicle?

    We have stopped our feld staff from going anywhere near the trouble spots.

    If you do have to go in, see if you can take a few out on the way.
