  • Its got naff all to do with this shooting it just the scum of our country grouping up in numbers to big for the police to deal with.

I wish we would stop pussing around and just dish out some beatings to these kids.

  • have you seen the video with the young girl getting nicked?...the youngsters in the back ground ''blood claa, man dem''.

these sh*tbags need a good hidin just for talking like that. cant stand the rudeboy culture, especially when white people suck up to it.

  • Call in the army, load em up with rubber bullets, then we'll see how 'hard' all these little s**** are.

    A little silly.
We have a population behaving like a third world civil war zone.
Do you really think acting like Angola, Egypt, Libya by reacting with armed forces on our own people will do any good?
  • Paul

Got a text that i just tried to varify so i called a pal who works In Edmonton Green

OB had been into his shop recomending that he is gone by 1530 as they are expecting more outbreaks of violence , they are going to try to lock down north london this time roads in and out of all surrounding towns, looks like we are gonna have another tough night,

dont know about you but this is getting right on my effing titts

  • If anyone is looking for some decent uptodate coverage, I recommend LBC.
  • Does anyone remember the film 'The Warriors' in the late 70's (sorry kids!) where the New York gangs propose to join together to take over the city and then take what they want......

Not that I agree or disagree with you Floyd, but what would be a workable alternative if this carries on?
  • i think it would do good. those countrys you mention, their people have been treated poorly by their corrupt governments for years and are fuelled by anger. the people of north london have not gone through a fraction of what they have, so have got no right to be acting up like this. they are simply taking the piss cos our OB are too scared to use force incase it hurts these scumbags human rights. if they call in the real tough guys, these 15 year old little boys and girls will shit a brick.
  • I wonder whether they will loot the civic centre in Bromley? Then i might not have to come in to work tomorrow! hahaha

  • NLA - Yes that information is confirmed that Edmonton Green is allegedly going to be hit at 4pm by these f**kwits, but the OB are concerned that this is deliberate disinformation and that somewhere else will be hit instead. The OB are going to call in the 'Specials' - that will have them quaking in their boots! That's Special Constables not the ska band! Clearly no sign of the army being used. My mate in Willow Road has been told to expect trouble in Enfield again tonight, so beware.

If ive posted this link correctly, take a look at around about 1.22. Kid in the black hoodie pulling a knife out. I doubt his just got that to slash some tyres
  • God that is depressing.

    Its all depressing.

  • I heard a different story, 'eye witnesses' say 3 shots were fired and they all hit the victim... 1 shot to the face Also.
I do find it quite amusing that everyone here just presumes the police's story to be true.

The Bristol one you all mention is corupt too. The police supposedly let the guy who they arrested, walk around the house and go make a brew, at which point, he stabbed himself through the heart ? Im sorry, but something doesnt add up.
So that makes it all right for looting and burning peoples homes down.
bore off, you turned up a day late to the discussion and obviously didnt bother reading most of it....This has nothing to do with the events at tottenham
Firstly I did bother to read the thread.  Secondly if what you are spouting off about is nothing to do with events at Tottenham why did you post it on a thread headed 'Tottenham Riots'.     This is a forum and telling someone to bore off because you don't like the responce reflects worse on you pal.

Floyd - not being funny mate, but the Police have not got a clue how to deal with this - basically they are f**king useless and too frightened to use any significant force. These people are in the process of ruining our city and will undoubtedly affect the economy if this continues. Not to mention public safety. Police have stood and watched shops and buildings being looted and burned for 2 nights now, so why will it suddenly stop without any opposition? Hardly a good showing for next years Olympics.

  • Jeez, how depressing has the last couple of days been. My concern is that having missed out on the"fun" for the last 48 hours it'll be the turn of East London soon to kick off. I no longer live there thankfully but still have family and friends that do and fear the worst for tonight.

Not sure what the answer is but it is frustrating beyond endurance for the average man on the street to see police standing by effectively powerless to act as businesses are looted and property destroyed. It'll be the taxpayer that picks up the bill as usual whilst these scum go on about their consequence free life.

Personally, I tend to favour the hard line approach and wouldn't be at all bothered by the use of rubber bullets given appropriate warnings to disperse.

Take care all in effected areas.

    Depressed of Dorset.

  • It seems the rise and rise of the culture of 'blackattude' coincides with the rise and rise of the lost chicken children.

  • There is a lot of rubbish being spouted in the press and on TV about what's going on. Most of it is opportunistic looting and nothing more. How is nicking a pair of trainers making a political statement?

And why oh why are they wrecking their own local environment? How does that help their situation?

Well as you have already read the thread, you will know someone else mentioned issues in Bristol, which I replied to... I got the facts wrong as I thought he was talking about smiley culture. Although you already know all of this because you have read the whole thread. You presume I think burning peoples house down is ok.....something ive said is wrong many times.

Im not going over all this again as I had some decent discussions yesterday.

What evidence am I looking at ? I have no prejudice and im not sure where ive shown that, just find it hard that some who has been detained is allowed to walk around the house on his own.

Well,in your first post, you described the guy shot by the police as a "victim" so, without knowing any facts at all, you've already made your own mind up as to who was to blame:  that would be showing prejudice wouldn't it?
Dictionary definition of victim - Someone or something which has been hurt, damaged or killed.
Where did you get your dictionary from?  I'd suggest you should get a refund under the Sale of Goods Act.  Mine says a living being offered as a sacrifice;  one subjected to death, suffering or ill-treatment:  a prey:  a sufferer.  In any event the post was clearly implying that the individual concerned was in some way the victim of an unlawful act by the police rather than just his own stupidity and bravado.
I don't usually bet but even I would have a punt on the later being the reality:  what he got he brought upon himself.  Perhaps he was trying to get a nomination for the 2011 Darwin Awards?
    1. a person or thing that suffers harm, death, etc., from another or from some adverse act, circumstance, etc. victims of tyranny2. a person who is tricked or swindled; dupe3. a living person or animal sacrificed in a religious rite

  • Can't wait to see Cameron 'hug a hoodie' after all this!
  • Saga - its no longer 'opportunistic', its actually organised. I witnessed the numerous 3 and 4 car convoys travelling around north London and Enfield last night packed with mask wearing yobs.
  • get into em
  • Shine166 - by the way, I might not agree with your policital views, but your artwork is okay...!
  • pls keep me posted if anything kicks of in Bromley. I work there !!! and finish at 8pm
  • get into em
Bring out the batons and water cannons. Groups of teenagers have made the police look like idiots.

Surely you'll have a better idea then us then!

I think you'll be fine, it's not really a riot town.

I don't see how you can compare a bunch of thieving scum bags to people fighting againt political oppression.

Also I don't see many of those countries you mention attempting to use non-lethal force either.

The police quite clearly can't do anything to stop this, they are well outnumbered, these kids are not going to just get bored and stop, something needs to happen and it needs to happen soon before this gets totally out of control.
  • You would think so but when someone posts a rumour about Bromley and I work on the 5th floor in an office and we know nothing !! lol
  • Idiots trying to smash the windows of a police car with a traffic cone.
