I heard a different story, 'eye witnesses' say 3 shots were fired and they all hit the victim... 1 shot to the face Also.
I do find it quite amusing that everyone here just presumes the police's story to be true.

The Bristol one you all mention is corupt too. The police supposedly let the guy who they arrested, walk around the house and go make a brew, at which point, he stabbed himself through the heart ? Im sorry, but something doesnt add up.
So that makes it all right for looting and burning peoples homes down.
bore off, you turned up a day late to the discussion and obviously didnt bother reading most of it....This has nothing to do with the events at tottenham

What evidence am I looking at ? I have no prejudice and im not sure where ive shown that, just find it hard that some who has been detained is allowed to walk around the house on his own.

Well,in your first post, you described the guy shot by the police as a "victim" so, without knowing any facts at all, you've already made your own mind up as to who was to blame:  that would be showing prejudice wouldn't it?
Dictionary definition of victim - Someone or something which has been hurt, damaged or killed.

This is on the money about how it was all organised, the Twitter/Facebook thing seems an odd way as it's so open.

  • Nothing happening in Dorset.
Think I'll kick the shit out of my neighbours hollyhocks, put a light under his barbeque and nick his wife's washing.

Seriously; feel for all the innocents caught up in this.
Gut reaction is to feel like arming up a group of like minded vigilantes and wasting the looters and thugs. All of them!!!!!

I honestly think this could run and run.

Maybe it's my age, maybe it's my current circumstances, maybe it's ignorance - but for the first time there are serious considerations about buggering off somewhere.

I know you have bad parts and people all around the world but I look around and can't see anything positive "in the community" on a wider scale.

Used to live in Walthamstow (just down from t hale tube) and a mate still lives that way.  Said last night there were gangs of 15-20 streaming past his house towards the market/highstreet area.  Police riot vans were flying about left and right and all was just mental.  Bunch of shops mashed up and apparently they smashed up Maccy Ds too! Bastards.  Vigilatism def the way forward with these pricks

Where did you get your dictionary from?  I'd suggest you should get a refund under the Sale of Goods Act.  Mine says a living being offered as a sacrifice;  one subjected to death, suffering or ill-treatment:  a prey:  a sufferer.  In any event the post was clearly implying that the individual concerned was in some way the victim of an unlawful act by the police rather than just his own stupidity and bravado.
I don't usually bet but even I would have a punt on the later being the reality:  what he got he brought upon himself.  Perhaps he was trying to get a nomination for the 2011 Darwin Awards?

Should be easy to catch them then. Never underestimate human stupidity!

There's a picture circulating of a looter at home surrounded by what looks like half of HMV. The stupidity is unreal.

What I can't understand is why this is happening in all different areas. It started off as a peaceful protest in tottenham by the family of this gangsta who apparently wouldn't hurt a fly. (amount of times I've heard that)

Because of Saturday in tottenham its having a domino effect and kicking off all over london and it can't be all over this bloke the police shot. If the police didn't shoot him there was always a chance another gangster just like him would have done the polices job. Would we have these riots if it wasnt the police that killed him.

It's nothing to do with the good church-going lad who was shot last week. It's a bunch of c***s whooping it up, behaving like imbeciles because they know full well they can get away with it.
