Welcome to Micheal Stewart

edited March 2011 in General Charlton
At last,a tough scotsman to stiffen the midfield. Wiki says that he is often yellow and red carded and was regarded while at Manchester United as 'the new Roy Keane'. If he is 1/4 good as Keane, can avoid too much referee attention and can get the side motivated and the fans on his side then he will do for me.. Good luck Michael. And despite my serious serious reservations about Chris powell, this could prove to be a master stroke of a signing

According to CP he is playing for a contract for next season. I just hope that he avoids the cards, playing with 10 men is not clever.

Totally agree - an experienced competitor alongside a young gifted player seems like a good midfield combo - CP is starting to turn me round even if it's a shame we didn't do this earlier.

Like the look of this a lot. Anyone know what Hearts and Hibs fans thought of him?

Sounds like he could be made for League 1. If he's any good, we'll probably struggle to keep hold of him though a la Jenkinson.

I posted from-the-horse's mouth emails from Hibs and Hearts fans on the earlier thread.

Might have been mentioned elsewhere and I missed it - but anyone know why he wasn't even in the squad yesterday?
