Just seen this on ths Your Views section of the OS. Comment is from Steve Rose and concerns the closing down of the Your Views page with the coming web-site move to FLI.
Well said. I guess we'll all have to sign on to Charlton Life under a silly name. But if CAFC need the money! .. it would be hard to justify staff redundancies when this site is a loss maker.
Is there scope to keep the forum alive? Perhaps 'Ed' has the answer.

    Some of them idiots wouldnt last 5 minutes on here!I read some of the comments on there at times and i swear some of em are on the whind up!

    Yes, you can however also change it fairly easily.

    Whenever and wherever you log from on your IP is stored and the admin can look it up anytime...

    But it's just as easy to mask your IP if you want...

    People should respect their bans and not try to intrude into a community where they are not welcome.

    They do tend to take their opinions to the extremes but they're not indefeatable, I'd relish an opportunity to put them to the sword with reasoned argument and challenging debate...

    I think a lot of people on here would be frightened to meet them, even in digital form, because they realise that their limited repetoire of calling someone 'wankers' and 'wums' for every argument would fail dismally and leave them feeling even more insecure...

    Yeah but it's not your forum and those in charge decided that Ackworth isnt wanted here, he should respect that.
