Following sales of stakes at Ipswich Town & Wrexham, Charlton Athletic are the next Championship club to chance their arm. The club’s US owners have asked merchant bank BDT & MSD Partners to look for a new partner. I suspect they’ll be dangling 20% or so for £20m.
