I remember at the time it was reported as a “freak goal” because nobody who played for Charlton could ever have the vision to attempt to do that and then the technical ability to pull it off.

Probably the classiest player ive seen at charlton. Cant believe he Didnt play for a better prem team

Interestingly, I'd imagine he left us for a higher salary and signing on fee (and sometimes we all need a change of scenery as well).
