Claus Jensen visiting

.... the museum yesterday.

Good to see Steve Brown and Terry Smith, both long term supporters of the museum, too.

Could've done with him on the pitch yesterday, to add some steel and tough tacking to our midfield!
  • That that is me explaining the Lego model of The Valley to Claus and his mates - he is a really nice bloke

Remember Claus with real affection. My son and I saw him in Sainsbury Chislehurst and CJ took the time out to chat to my son about Charlton and Football. Was a real gentleman.

If the 'star' players in the money league had scored the goal at Highbury he'd have got goal of the season.

You must be thinking of the 4-1 game in 2005.

I remember at the time it was reported as a “freak goal” because nobody who played for Charlton could ever have the vision to attempt to do that and then the technical ability to pull it off.

    Fulham.
  •  Interestingly, I'd imagine he left us for a higher salary and signing on fee (and sometimes we all need a change of scenery as well).

Would he be in the same camp as Thierry Small, who is seen as a "greedy bastard" for going to Preston?

He lived next to the BP garage on Perry Street.
Didn’t he once leave his Prem wage slip somewhere, and we saw he was on £25k a week ?

£25k a week and living next to a petrol station? (although very convenient for milk and Ginsters when you run out).
