Doesn’t sound promising for a long and happy marriage! 😉☹️

What are your holiday plans for 2026?

January - Gran Canaria (2 weeks)

    February/April - South/North India and Nepal (2 months)

    April/May - Morocco (2 weeks)

    May - Wembley (1 day)🤓

    June/July - South of France (5 weeks)

    October - Spain (1 month)

    November - Egypt (2 weeks)

Not sure why you’d come back just to watch Millwall get promoted…

Still working sadly so only have booked so far:

I've got 4 days at a spa retreat in France in April

Usual week in Cyprus in May - we toyed with a new venue, but went back to the old trusty, plus also want to look again at retirement villas there.

Will do a couple of long weekend trips to Lanzarote for same purpose, maybe stretch one of them to a week.

We are doing 5 days in Guernsey in July/August but still to decide on hotels, 5 days in Sand banks again in the summer holidays (wife works in a school) and probably a week or maybe 2 in Sotogrande.

October somewhere UK or nearby, not sure where yet, may depend how Guernsey/Cyprus/Lanzarote goes, have promised friends we will go to IoM next year to see them since they deserted Blighty last year, really don't think that place is for me (bar the TT) but worth a look.

A few European city breaks, and that'll be us done!

Very jealous pf all of you with these trips planned, particularly those going to Africa. We've had a big couple of years for travelling for family and friend reasons both positive and negative (a couple of family members ill in far flung places but also friends and family weddings and visiting some who are now living and working abroad).

Were doing a big project on our house in spring so both in terms of time available and and cash it's gotta be a relatively small year for travel. Keeping it short haul and as cheap as possible.

Currently have a week in Rhodes in May for my in laws 60th (paid for by them!).

The wife promised a short trip somewhere not too far where I can get my Advanced open water Scuba diving qualification.

Potentially doing a trip with friends to do a bit of sailing in the med.

    Paphos?
Pantachou Beach just outside Ayia Napa, or Grecian Bay as many know it as. Furthest part away from the Harbour down towards Grecian Sands (the year in The Amarande where we stayed year before last). Think this is my 23rd trip to Cyprus!

Probably done close to that ourselves, always in the Paphos area though.

Think 3x to Paphos, 2x to Limassol, otherwise we are creatures of habit!

Have done Paphos about 6 times and currently looking at it again for 2026 but part of me wants to try Protaras again for a change.

Also looking likely I'll be booking Belek.

I love Cyprus, it might be my favourite place on Earth.
