    I took some persuading he had handled it, but what I would say was immediately obvious was that the flight of the ball was weird. That was my instant reaction and should have been the biggest clue.

    Of course he didn't mean to handle it. League two players don't mean to be less talented  than Championship ones. The question of trust is whether you think the player has more errors like that in him. That is a feeling Jones will have to address. If it was me, and it isn't of course, I would have a problem with it. That's all I am saying. I trust Jones whatever he decides.

    Lost trust in him? Jeez. I assume you have lost trust in Knibbs too for hitting the bar when he should have scored? I assume you are still livid and have lost trust in Docherty after his awful penalty miss? Need I go on. Hernández made a mistake, it happens, he didn’t mean it. Move on.

    Hernandez will be on the bench again V Southampton, he knows the error in judgement more than everyone, and will want to make good as soon as possible, confident Nathan would have had a word with him and drawn a line under the incident....

    We aren’t exactly blessed with wing back options at the moment. With Bree unavailable there’s a decent chance he’ll be in the team

    Spot on. Lose trust in players that quickly and you'd have about three players left by Christmas.
