We're Ali Maxwell's Bet of the week. He is not hot on Swansea at all.
In a way Swansea are the opposite of us. A poor side, not creating much, but with a striker in Vipotnik on a hot streak. Some cracking finishes this season.

Lloyd Jones will have his hands full tomorrow, but keep him quiet and we should win.

Wouldnt be surprised if Gillesphey is on the bench following giving away a goal last week

Will Galbraith get a bit of a reception from the covered end for seemingly dissing us in the summer??

I have a suspicion Fullah will be in the 18 in place of Apter tomorrow. Apter was disappointing last week and NJ will not have liked his attitude when substituted. Fullah currently offers more in the goalscoring department.
I'd like to see Anderson given a chance. I think that he has a role to play in the squad.
What’s with all the potential changing of squad players, Nathan pretty much picks the same players unless injuries hit, Anderson and Fullah are both fringe at best and both not really championship ready. The only players to come in will be Godden/ Edward’s when fit. Both the youngsters I can see on loan.
I was only thinking of one substitute change from someone's else's guess. Hardly radical.

I would move Knibbs from the squad to make way for Anderson. I know Knibbs has scored, but he hasn't clicked yet.

He has been their best midfielder this season. He would have been a nice addition

1-1 Kelman looks at their goalie just before the goal goes in and runs around a lot tiring the oppo out

Hard-fought 2-0 victory today with goals from a striker (yay!) and a defender.

Except NJ this week has explicitly ruled out loaning Fullah, he says he is part of first team squad. See Rich Cawley's substack.

Ok obviously don’t see Rich Cawley substack, either way even if he don’t go on loan, he’s not ready for championship football and is only on the fringes, don’t see why some people are trying to crowbar players in when it’s clear who the 1st choices are.

He didn’t say anything about us. It was Ritchie Wellens

Let's add some extra motivation to one of their most dangerous players.

Good to see that Swansea are bringing over 2,000 supporters to The Valley, as it helps to generate a proper atmosphere. I read somewhere that, last season in the. Championship, they and Millwall had the lowest average away followings (around 1,300 a game, I think).

I’ve seen us play Swansea quite a few times at The Valley but three games particularly stick in the memory - the 2-1 defeat in 2019 (where Ayew gave us the runaround); a 2-2 draw in 83/84 during our financial crisis, after which I think Hulyer resigned, leaving Richard Collins as the sole director; and the 6-0 win in 1972, when Peter Reeves opened the scoring and we ran riot in the second half.

I imagine that today will be another tight game against a team, like us, who don’t score freely but are very good at the back. As ever, the first goal may prove pivotal.

I had a dream this week that we beat Swansea to go on 22 points and had the prospect of hitting 25 points - 50% of our initial 50 point target - by 4 November, only to go on and draw with West Brom. That wouldn’t be a bad outcome, although my dreams are equally inaccurate as my score predictions.

Yes sounds like Galbraith would have been a very useful addition in getting us on the ball a bit more maybe but we haven’t done bad and most new signings are contributing very well - this feels like another Blackburn or Sheffield wed - could go either way and first goal will be crucial - think we’ve used up quite a bit of good luck over the last few games just hope it continues

Would have been fascinated to see where Galbraith would have slotted in.

Right Wing-Back instead of Rob Apter perhaps?

But then he may have been ousted by James Bree, as Jones I suspect will have still wanted the extra cover, and as he says; Bree is his player, he knows what he gets from him - The alternate options were Coventry or Docherty (who has had a stellar season)... Imagine if anything it probably would have allowed us to rotate Conor and Ethan a bit more.

I can't see NJ playing someone like Galbraith in the midfield 2. Maybe he would have had the Carey role?

I’d take Carey over Galbraith all day long.

Feels too far forward for him, as that was where Donley played for them

That’s what I was thinking although tbh I don’t remember seeing him play 😂- just going by what was said when we were trying to sign him and the fact he’s doing well

    Frustrating 0-1 defeat.

Think as a fan base we are at risk being a little bit complacent at home, hope the players aren't. Sheff Weds didn't fill me with much confidence, hope to be proved wrong and I really want CK to grab a goal.

Vipotnik anytime scorer is 4/1 on SkyBet, same odds as Carey anytime.

Also saw that. Not sure if the silence about it is a good or bad thing. I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about
