Quite neat that in the Hull City programme, they interviewed both Dillon Phillips, plus our shared exes Leon Cort and Alex Dyer.
Always respect Leon Cort for coming on the forum after his release to wish us well. Absolute top bloke and a great player for us.
  • After picking up 7 points in the last week according to Opta we are now officially the 214th best team in the world. We climbed an impressive 50 places, moving ahead of such footballing giants as Malmö and Minnesota United.

That's the sort of post/stat that makes me want to empty all my cupboards and reorganise them.  I'm serious.
    Wonderful.

I have a (rather boring) tale about one of those clubs, but I'll post it in the "other grounds" thread (or whatever it's called) in due course.

So does that mean we are legally no longer allowed to sing "we're by far the greatest team the world has ever
seen"? Shame? I will miss it......m

Just watched the highlights and I think that Gillesphey is more to blame than Apter. When he receives the ball he has plenty of time but he firstly lets the ball run across himself then proceeds to take a man on. By the time he does this he is closed down by three players. I don’t like that Apter plays the ball inside in front of our own penalty box but to say the goal is his fault is really harsh. Gillesphey simply takes too long, is too one footed and tries to be too clever.
Also Apter played a sublime cross to TC and any decent striker would have already had us 1-0 up by then.
Overall, Apter is a player we should be bringing on when a goal down, and prepared to take a risk, not starting a match away from home.

I've just checked Opta and we're already down to 215th. Jones simply has to go.

Are we still above former European Cup finalists, Malmὂ?
