seen some hull fans say we got lucky and were outclassed the entire game maybe I didn’t watch the same thing they did because I don’t think they were particularly that great and felt a point for both sides was very fai
On xG we were ahead 1.93 to 0.94. No way did they outclass us.

Looked the better team early first half with Tupac having a few chances but Hull edged it for large periods. Stupid goal to give away.

Couldn’t see where an equaliser was coming from. Good subs for Jones in the second half, paid off. Berry looked dangerous as soon as he stepped on the pitch. Love it. On we go.

I thought we were poor in the second half. A point is great, winning two away games in a few days was always a huge ask.

Steve Brown is on the train drinking and chatting like a normal fan. The team are ahead of us on an LNER train and I hear they're all as friendly (shout out to Nicholas who's with them).

A top geezer is Brownie, I have had the good fortune to meet him and am not surprised that nobody has a bad word to say about him.
A bloody good footballer as well.

Is Nathan Jones with the team?
I'd love to hear the convo with Nick (Nicholas)  :D

Most I hoped for was a point and we got it. Now need to capitalise on 3 games unbeaten and 2 games in a row at home

Watched the stream and delighted to get a point. Uncharacteristic mistakes at the back from all of them except LJ I think. Brownie put that down to mental & physical fatigue and the match schedule has been pretty brutal for us with the long travels in the last couple of weeks. I thought LJ was immense yet again and Carey played well again in a different role. What fun this all is. COYR.

Loved that effort from a clearly struggling side

We're a bit screwed if Coventry is ever actually injured btw
What do you mean @Leuth ? We fared well today against an established Champ side. The only goal they scored, Maca gifted, and we finished on 2x their xG. Personally felt today showed we can play without Conor if needs be.

Do think it’s interesting NJ played Knibbs rather than the more defensive JRC. Was it down to who he prefers or based on how Hull
    play?

Knibbs was pretty ineffective in the 10 role. Worse,  it also moved Carey away from the goal. Yes he can play the deeper role, but when he's the biggest goal threat, it's a waste of his red hot form.

Knibbs was a bit of a loser today, as surely Berry will be ahead of him in the 10 role now.

And moved Docherty back which doesn't suit him as much.

Yeah, well the Bayliss coach will be buzzing too.  The remainder of the lemon drizzle would’ve been passed around and they’ll be some quiet mutterings about what time the coach leaves Larkfield for Wrexham in two weeks, so pipe down

Yes we looked spent at the end, but so did they. I also think we looked as compact and effective as we have done most of the season at the back. We pressed well up front and made good substitutions at the right time. I don’t think the changes fundamentally changed our style nor our effectiveness, nor our chances of winning (or losing). We are a well balanced team holding our own at the top end of the championship. Rejoice.
  • Shows how far we’ve come in such a short period of time that there’s a bit of criticism after gaining a point at an established championship club to keep us in the play off places. Compare that to the last 5 or 6 years of dross we’ve had to endure.

5 or 6? We appointed Karel Fraeye on this day 10 years ago!

A hard earned point in the road, however TC had enough chances to get all three.

We were just running on fumes most of the match. Despite the possession football we looked knackered. I'll not single anyone out, but those who watched the game will know we deserved a pint for trying, but nothing else. For me, not losing is the key here. Ok, so a clean sheet would have been nice, but for the travelling faithful, and they have bloody travelled this week, to go behind and snatch a late, late, equaliser, it was so sweet. Not much to about about. We had a go, and tried out best. A point against an in form championship team, away, is great. These are results I'd have dreamed of pre-season. Well done lads and Nathan and respect to all that cheered on out battlers.
    Safe journey home guys.
    Mines a Guinness, cheers.

Two very good sides so far this season cancelled each other out with a deserved point a piece. Some nice passages of play from both sides amongst it and pleased to see this week out of the way with 7/9 points. Huge credit to Nathan and the whole squad - you’ve done us proud this week and every mile travelled has been worth it. Was a long drive there and back today mind.
