As others have said, a very tough game. Can Hull win 4 in a row? Can we win 3 in a row? Looks like a draw might be possible and I would take that right now. But 2 tough away games might be too much. Last the first 20 mins and we might be ok. Difficult to call, 2-0 to Hull.

Think we’ll start with the same XI

a hard earned point and a couple of well deserved days off for the lads

I keep predicting a loss, but then we win 🤷‍♂️. If McBurnie plays we lose.

2-0. So only half as bad as the Housemartin's predict.
The Housemartins predicted the home game though, not the away

Mad how we live that rent free.

I couldn’t tell you anything about Hull other than Bullard did that celebration.

    People are rattled by us.
  • Could go either way. But we finished Tuesday with a spring in our step, so I don't think we'll struggle as much as the last Tuesday-Saturday back to back away games we had.

Just a hunch, I would predict there are more smack heads in Hull than Charlton.

    Happy with point tbh.
Who is our pen taker this season?....Kelman?
After this game, we will have played 2 more games away than at home.
Good point about the penalty taker, not sure we've had one yet have we?

And our next 2 games are at home so that will even that out.

Just want us to win now to hear chants of

''Cheshire Bens a wanker'' and 2-0 to the Smack head boys lmao

Clearly everyone sees Charlton as a threat.

    Love it. UTA!

Hull have had a good start like us, but they've conceded alot which will give us hope of getting a good result.

Don’t think we’ll be able to maintain the same levels that we reached on Tuesday. Travelling up will be a drain too. Hoping for a point but expecting a narrow defeat

Would love a win, would take a draw. Won't be too disheartened if we lose as it's a tricky away game, as long we put in the effort (which I'm sure we will)

When fit it will be Godden but right now it’s either Leaburn or Kelman think they’re the only two players to have actually taken a proper penalty in their career

    Ditto.

Years of following this lot have predisposed me to expecting the worst, but today I need effort, one or three points would be nice, but a lackluster rollover will encourage the ghosts of Charlton past!

This league is so difficult to predict when I looked at the fixture list pre season there were games that I thought we had no chance in but suprise suprise we took points in all of those games.

    why stop now ?

im going for a win 2-3 and an entertaining match

TC took one in the League Cup last season and missed. Doc and Carey will probably have a good penalty in them

I suspect we are probably at the stage where positive momentum is starting to takeover and no player would want to put in a performance which would mean they lose their place in the matchday squad, Getting it back wouldn’t be easy and the next transfer window opening is getting closer by the day were Nathan start to think someone isn’t fully up to it in the meantime.

Be great to see Doc invoke the curse of the ex player today and get a well deserved goal. A winner, hopefully. 1-0 to us. COYRs

Two in form sides that have been punching above their weight this term. Or perhaps the "big sides" have just been awful. Or maybe the likes of Hull and Charlton are just that good!

Difficult to say who has a bigger chance of running away with the three points. I suspect both teams will be cautiously optimistic (like both sets of fans), and I do think both would be happy with a point here. So that's what I'm rolling with. Think on paper, Hull fans would be slightly more disappointed with a draw because of the home advantage (is that really a thing anymore???), but after our total dismantling of the Tractor Boys away from from home, I doubt they'd be too miffed.

Either way, what a splendid week of football we've had. COYA.

Just checked into my hotel and saw the players going for their meeting. Kelman looked like he was gonna bag a hatty today.

After Tuesday night I really don't know what to expect: was that an indication that we're clicking into gear, or will it be 'after the Lord Mayor's show?

What I do know is that last time we played on my birthday we lost at home to MK Dons. Also this birthday has been tiring and annoying so far after a flight cancellation.😡
However, I should still be home in time to collect our new car so let's hope Charlton also show their new wheels 😀

Only if they boo him all game. The rule seems to be that booing an ex guarantees he'll play like prime Messi/ De Bruyne.

Paris is a shithole. I hate the place. The people are unfriendly, the staff on the metro can't even find their station on a map, no-one can understand how the ticket machine works, they put hardly any escalators in the stations, staff in shops try to rip you off by charging extra, everything outside the centre is shoddy - I just went through it and wish never to go back . Hate it with a vengeance, hate PSG plastic club too.

    So...apart from that...ok?
I mean is it worse than Hull...😉
