Back to earth with a bump or a 93rd minute leaburn header.0

Happy with point tbh.
Who is our pen taker this season?....Kelman?
After this game, we will have played 2 more games away than at home.2 -
Interesting game this one. 2 teams in good form, Hull have been one of the best attacking sides in the league this season, and we’ve been one of the best defensive sides
Tuesday was the most we’ve created away from home this season, so hopefully this carries on and we can take advantage of their poor defence, while keeping their attack quiet2 -
After the Lord Mayor's show, 2-0 defeat.3

Two overachieving teams, both full of confidence. The tiredness from 2 consecutive away games might give Hull a slight advantage, but all to play for.
No idea which striker combination we'll start with, but it'll swap after 60 anyway. I slightly worry about the minutes Doc and Cov are putting in, but NJ doesn't seem to trust anyone else to start in that position.3 -
Comfortable 0-4...
Probably being a tad over optimistic there, make it 0-3...😉1 -
11v11 for the next four games, take them one at a time, don’t be afraid, don’t melt.
A draw would be a good result anyway.0 -
First time to that jewel of the North, Hull, so first time crossing the Humber Bridge.
My head thinks 0-0, 1-1. Happy with both of those, but this ole heart of mine is whispering, get the first goal, then anything could happen in the next 15 minutes,......almost floated back from Ipswich on a wave of euphoria.
Big thank you to NJ and the boys for making me a true believer again. You are making an old man very very happy.
The journey continues.4 -
Hopefully Hull are as wasteful as Ipswich which would be a very good point for us, 1-1.

Unchanged from Tuesday barring injuries or 'niggles'
No reason why we can't beat Hull, who like us are confounding some 'experts' with their form so far0 -
If Hull underestimate us as much as their fans are in their forum then I can only see three more points but they in good form like us so I’ll go for a Desmond .2-2 ( Jones , Kelman )0
-
Think Mcburnies fitness may decide the outcome of this game2
-
Same starting 11 as Tuesday and we’ll win 1-2 or 1-3!0
-
Take a point but the way we're playing why not all 3.
They have a few injuries which will help.0 -
Rambo to start. Result may depend on their two best players being out or not.
Our selections may depend on how big they are. No idea.1 -
We dare to dream, surely we can't keep the momnetum going..fancy a 1-2 for the boys from South london1

I thought that against Ipswich, Olaofe and Kelman worked well together but probably didn't get the headlines they deserved. They didn't see much of the ball in the first thirty mins but we still created three good chances in that first half with Kelman's second half pile driver emphasising our forwards dominance against shaky back four, enter Campbell and Leaburn and we tore them apart. I'd go with that combo again and I wouldn't change much else. A draw to give us seven points from three games and I'd be well happy.3

Latest injury update from Hull journalist. Giles is fine unfortunately but at least he might not have McBurnie to aim for in the middle2 -

Now assistant boss to Sergej Jakirovic at the MKM Stadium, Dean Holden spent a short spell at The Valley, joining in December 2022 and seeing him steer the club away from relegation before losing his job early in the following season, and praised the club's supporters for their backing as he prepares to come up against them once more.
"It's a fantastic football club, I loved my time there," Holden told Hull Live. "It should have gone on for longer, but for other reasons I won't go into (it didn't), but the crowd really got behind me there, I felt the love and support from them, and it'll be nice to see them on Saturday."

Only one more day to wait until we get to watch Charlton win again.
Life is great2 -
TC will start. NJ will have taken note of how much pressure we were under from the get go without having TC and Kelman together up front to press and stretch the opposition. We were very lucky not to concede in the first half.
The game plan will otherwise be the same, hold them off for 60mins and then go for the win. It has worked for the past year except on the few occasions when we have been on the front foot against inferior opponents.1 -

Before a ball was kicked this fixture was a must not lose because you ear marked Hull as being in a relegation battle come end of the season .. but both teams are on an excellent run and suddenly this looks completely different .. key points they not had to travel this week we had two away games with very little recovery time and also preparation time .. that might just be little difference in build up that could effect the result …. But I am sticking with prediction I made on this game before a ball was kicked and that was a draw ….. team news unchanged the only person who may need a rest would be Bree who not been that great last two games … so Burke in move Ramsey up the pitch or bring in Apter … 1-12

1-0 away win for the Addicks. Hull’s form has been good over the last 6 matches but 4 of those games have been at home and they’ve basically had it easier than a Charlton squad that will have been getting used to toughening up over that same period. Hull have only kept the one clean sheet and scored in all six games which tends to lean towards them preferring to attack their opponents. Charlton’s battling defence will handle that and when we start pressing it’s likely Hull won’t be too used to handling it. Buoyed by Tuesday nights convincing scoreline I suspect we could well get our goal in the first 5 minutes and then shut up shop for the rest of the game and frustrate the home team and their fans for the next 85 plus minutes.2

Personally I'd have taken 2 away draws this week so i see tomorrow as a free hit after the midweek win.I think it will be a tougher game than Ipswich. Hull are in decent form and the nature of our win will have cast aside any thoughts that Hull and their fans might've had over this being an easy home win against newly promoted Charlton. So they'll be right up for it with no complacency.
I'm also fearing that the last time we had back to back away games, we put so much effort in on the Tuesday (Derby) that we were fucked for the Saturday (Preston).
100% i'd take a draw now, but if we score first then who knows, we might even sneak all 3 points.4 -
Mcburnie looks to be out which is good news for us. Very hard to predict this one, 1-10
-
A draw at most0
