    Frauds.

    Suranne Jones and Jodie Whitaker.

Sack of shit. Like they took the worst episode ever of Hustle and asked ChatGPT to make it even worse and set it in Spain.

    Total pants.

Had to binge watch over two nights just to get rid of it.

I'm quite tolerant in giving programmes a chance, but I gave up after 20 mins.

Hamza's Hidden Wild Isles has some amazing footage of British wildlife. Hamza's joy at filming difficult to see wildlife is wonderfully uplifting.

    TOOTING RED ARMY:
Hamza is brilliant. I absolutely loved episode one, a genuine joy to watch. The fact that he’s both a natural on camera and a superb wildlife photographer makes this truly outstanding television. I can see Hamza going on to even bigger things. When the time eventually comes sadly for Attenborough to step aside, there’ll be a massive void but Hamza feels like one of those presenters who could help carry the torch and inspire future BBC natural history audiences.
  • Finished watching Riot Women - really enjoyed it. Some great storylines and hoping for a second series.

    Excellent cast.

Agreed - from the way it ended, I think it is set up for another series

Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue .. excellent and FREE on the BBC .. surprised it's not already been mentioned
    Task .. villains v villains on Sky/NOW
Have seen Nine Bodies advertised, but thought it looked a bit naff

Might have to give it a go, once I have paid my BBC TAX to watch it....
I'm 75, NO BEEB tax for me  :)
Sadly, don't you have to now? My in-laws, do/did but got 50% discount as he was partially sighted and registered blind.

The first of series 5 of Stranger Things starts on himselfs birthday. So I took the step & asked if he wanted to watch it from the start so we could watch the last series together & he said yes!
    So we started again tonight.
Third time for me, first for him.
I hadn't noticed before but there are a few nods to the film Witness in the first 3 episodes in series one. Is this a thing? Are there nods to other 80's classics in the episodes by the Duffer Brothers?
Or am I massively overthinking it?

Genuinely, really good.  One of the first programmes with genuine heart in it since the Royal family and some proper laughs

Pays homage to loads of 80s classics - ET to a massive degree and Alien were the first that came to.mind for me but this shows others too (I hadn't caught Stand by Me and should have!):

….we are underwhelmed too. Keep thinking that they’ve mis-cast both of the main characters and that it might have been more believable if they had each other’s part. Watched the first episode but not inclined to go back for any more.

Watched it to the end thought it was OK....an easy watch as MrsH would say.

Absolutely love the new series of Slow Horses.

The Batman line last week had me in stitches.

Agreed - one of my favourite lines. Shrek has read the books which he says are even better, as so much more in the words than is conveyed on screen

    King & Conqueror

Drivel! Was so looking forward to this but it was a big let down.
Stuck with it but knew where it was going early doors. Blockbuster cast with a terrible script.
I'm no historian but there was some glaring inaccuracies. I've nothing against a bit of inaccuracy if it enhances the story but this bought nothing.
The build up the the part we were all there for was far too long and drawn out, and the piece de resistance was far too short. less than the full final episode!

Bitterly disappointed. The Beeb had a chance to make this a spectacular recollection of arguably the greatest event in England's history and they completely f****d it up.

    Don't bother!

    Looking forward to Plur1bus

Everything Vince Gilligan does is top-tier, the trailer is intriguing, and I'd watch Rhea Seehorn reading a phone book, so ticks all my boxes.

If you haven't watched 'Barry', I highly recommend it. Dark humour, very funny.

It’s one of the best series in years I absolutely love it. Can’t wait for Season 4.

Watched the first two, quite enjoying it so far.

Stuck with King & Conqueror, thought it was ok but could have been so much better.

The new Daisy May and Charlie Cooper show - Nightwatch - is pretty good.

They go ghost hunting, but it has a Go Fishing vibe and is more about them reconnecting and their relationship.

Loved this. Any show about a hitman that also stars Henry Winkler is worth watching.

If anyone likes this, then I would also check out Mr Nowhere.
