In NY meeting family, managed to shake them off for a couple of hours while they went to Chinatown. Resarding myself with an Other Half All Citra Everything. 8.5% Imperial IPA. Made with citra, double dry hopped with citra, with an added dose of Citra lupulin powder. Way to easy to drink at the Other Half Rockefeller Center taproom

There's a shipment of Other Half IPAs in the UK at the moment... Beer Merchants still has some, and I saw some at Utobeer at Borough Mkt at the weekend.... I managed to get ten from Beer Merchants....canned back in April/May, but still tasting great.... Do wish I was able to get to the taproom tho....1

Tastes like fermented cherry Tunes. Not wholly vile. Just partially.

Popped into the Kentish Belle, I’m not a craft beer drinker, so picked the whisky cask cider, 6.75% went down well.1 -

Not my favourite beer but the location made it all the more palatable- Sea Caves Tavern near Coral Bay, Cyprus.0

Had a pint of Guilden Drak in Bruge when the fpo went shopping along the last street back to the ship. It was very nice but when I checked it was 10.5 percent !!. Just had one.0

My favourite beer of the year so far. Tomislav Crno Pivo (black beer) 7.3%. Smooth and incredibly tasty.

Maine Beer Week, so a few days in Portland. Tonight at Novare Res it’s a cask race - 5 beers, gravity dispense, first empty keg wins the trophy. This is Sebago Club Novo, 6.8% wet hop IPA. Very pleasant.

Well that was quick, although these are firkins I think, so 72 pints. The winner, in 32 minutes was Allagash Lager. Next up for me, Goodfire Worms - 4% English style best bitter(their words, not mine). Sorta, not bad, but a bit sweet. Oddly enough, it does taste a bit like a cup of tea.

One last beer before I leave - Ducato Chrysopolis. Italian geueze. Nice and acidic. I think it’s a really good non-Belgian version of the style, reminiscent of Cantillon.
