    Thoughts on House of Guinness?
    I haven't watched it yet.
Not a bad watch although some of the dialogue is difficult to catch. Up to episode 4 . Mostly filmed in and around Liverpool. The brewery parts are filmed on Regent Rd close to the new Everton stadium by the Titanic hotel.

Saw episode 1 of the second series of 4 Perfect Pub Walks with Alexander Armstrong (C4). A format thats been done before, host goes walking over two or three days with a guest, in this case James May, and chat about 'stuff' before ending up in the pub. Very reminiscent of Gone Fishing but without the actual fishing. It depends on how much you want to see the guest, but I'll watch the others, which include Chris Packham and Lenny Henry. I find guests that dont appeal massively come across much better on things like this where they can talk a bit more about themselves rather than pushing whatever bit of media shite theyre promoting this week.

Have seen Nine Bodies advertised, but thought it looked a bit naff

Might have to give it a go, once I have paid my BBC TAX to watch it....

Started Revival on Sky this evening. Looks like it might be a fresh new take on the whole zombie apocalypse theme.

    Boots on Netflix

Set in the late 80’s about a gay lad that joins the US Marines. Funny, moving and well acted.

    Really enjoying it.

Just binged series 2 and 3 of Blue Lights. For some reason only watched first episode of the second series when it came out (having loved first series) and then forgot about it.

    Very good.

Struggling big time with the latest Alan Partridge series . I loved the previous series but this just isn’t funny . He needs to get back behind the radio mike or TV camera .
Driving scenes that are meant to be seasoned Norwich were seemingly filmed in Bromley.
Tubbenden Lane and Bromley Court Hotel have featured so far in the ones I’ve watched.
Along with Poverest Road and they also drove over what I affectionately call the 'back breaker' speed hump at the junction of Mayfield Avenue, Lynwood Grove and Knoll Rise :)

New Monster on Netflix. Ed Gein Story. Not for the feint hearted.

I'm on episode 4 and it is well done in my opinion.

Charlie Hunman is good at playing the role of a creepy freak. It probably took a lot of work to really portray the Ed Gein nutcase mindset.

It isn't just gory body part story telling.

It does at least highlight the birth of graphic horror films and what influenced them.

They all stem from true stories located in the US. It is quite shameful and this series highlights how it all started.

Agreed I know Partridge is cringe, but this just very bad cringe from Steve Coogan, I couldn't watch any more. Coogan needs to get Partridge back to what he does best, back in the motel and making a fool of himself on radio.

If ever a comedy character needed retiring after it's 'boom' years it's the Alan Partridge one.
I've not watched any of him since the outstanding 'I'm Alan Partridge'. And I think even in series 2 of that his gold started to tarnish

It’s not as good as the classic AP series……but I don’t think it’s as bad as is being portrayed here.

Plus there are some local (Bromley) locations used for the filming - which I always find interesting.

Hamza's Hidden Wild Isles has some amazing footage of British wildlife. Hamza's joy at filming difficult to see wildlife is wonderfully uplifting.

Yes, total nut job as you say.

Binge watching King & Conquerer at the moment, really enjoying it. Just finished Borderline, was okay but accents hard to fathom.

Yes and with the amount of “kids” that spend their lives shut away in their room I can see it becoming more common.
