You all say this like Pakistan aren't going to roll over for 503

Beth Mooney, on 33* (38) must be spitting feathers at the ineptitude of her partners in playing what is slow spin on an even slower wicket.0 -

Hope you got stuck into the 2.66 on Australia that was available. A bit better value than the pre-match 1.020 -
Last time the two teams played in an ODI, Pakistan scored 235-70

Fantastic legside stumping to get rid of Garth

That's not to say that Pakistan will chase down what looks likely to be 180 plus. But the Australian top order only have themselves to blame - bar Mooney that is.0 -
100* (110) for Mooney out of 186-8 (47.5)0
-
Alana King with her first ODI 50* (48)0

221-9 (50)
Mooney out off the final ball of the innings for 109 (114).
Mooney & King with the highest 9th wicket partnership in ODI history with a stand of 106. Between them they contributed 160-1 off 163 balls. The rest produced 53-8 off 137 balls.
Pakistan seamers: 20-1-123-3
Pakistan spinners: 30-3-98-6

That is definitely the most predictable lower-order turnaround in cricket history tbf0

Well it was fun while it lasted. Brilliant batting by Mooney and King (he says through gritted teeth) but we were so close to one of the biggest upsets in history. Aargh.0

Their captain too.

Aren't most of the younger backup Aussie quicks injured anyway? Lance Morris I think is out, Spencer Johnson doesn't seem to be anywhere near red ball selection and has been injured, Jhye Richardson seems to be always injured. Maybe a call up for brief Kent overseas Xavier Bartlett or Fergus O'Neill?1

The Aussies might have to turn to Brendan Doggett or even Michael Nesser0

I suppose the only difference between us and them is that they do have any number of other bowling options if it means giving Starc and Hazlewood a meaningful rest. In addition to Cummins' replacement and Lyon, they potentially have Webster and Green (who should be fit to bowl) as well as part-timers such as Head and Labuschagne.0
