Said it on Tuesday, say it again today... Leaburn, Olaofe and Knibbs just don't give the opposition defence the same sort of thing to think about, or keep them busy enough like Kelman, Campbell and Carey do.

Until that happens, Jones shouldn't be switching it.
But never bringing them on means they won’t have the chance to do that.

Has Knibbs done anything of note since the Watford game?
He hasn't started a league game in fairness. Not sure we can expect too much from sub appearances.

Leaburn for TC was simply a bad decision, either leave TC on or replace him with Tanto, it's not worked with Leaburn

Good strength from Leaburn to win a free kick near the corner

See how much we lose when we take TC off
Go on likes hes the messiah. He hasn't scored or assisted. Thought I'm not blaming him as it’s a team game but he shouldn't be made out as this knight in shining armour.
Preston have controlled the game comfortably since he went off. We have limited threat without him.
Mostly because we brought on Leaburn who is arguably the slowest player on the pitch and has been like that since coming back from injury. No wonder they could start getting forward.

Won one of the headers that led to Tanto’s goal

But they're not exactly taking the opportunity to show Jones should be doing otherwise.

    Smyth score for QPR.

Another ex-player scoring today. Joins Jack Payne, Mason Burstow, Chem Campbell and Thierry Small.
What level are Payne, Burstow and Campbell playing

I hope Jones learns a lesson today for when we go to Hull at the end of the month. Rotate players for the midweek game at Ipswich.

We tired Tuesday  and today. I called the goal a minute before it happened.

    Fine margins at this level.

For all the constant bashing of TC and Kelman, we’ve looked worse since Leaburn and Olaofe have come on.

Been a bit like the QPR game. We’ve not been bad, as such, but they’ve made us look like what we probably are - a lower mid table team (and no shame in that given where we were even a year ago).

At our best we’ll give anyone a game. Come a bit off that level and we look a bit mediocre. Too many players not quite at their best today.

We’ve should also expect plenty more games like this this season. Still been very solid start to the season and more positive signs than worrying ones.

If Preston are the 4th-best team in this division then we are surely capable of mid-table this year

No but we can’t avoid making subs. Tanto’s scored off the bench and Leaburn’s had some promising moments this season even though he’s not scored yet. Knibbs we’ve barely seen.

So what has he done to make him this amazing game changer?

Before I get grief, I rate him but he can run a channel or beat a player all he likes but there is little to no end product.

Our strength, what'll keep us up this season, was always going to be our home form... The way we play at home e.g. against Blackburn, and even Millwall / Leicester (games we didnt win)

Its always been night and day under Jones.

Lost count of how many times we’ve been caught offside.

Our defence is great but they’re not perfect and they’re going to concede goals the issue is I don’t know if we have enough going forward to rectify that when they do.

You can blame Leaburn if you want to avoid admitting losing Campbell was the issue but it’s clear that the team has played worse since Tyreece Campbell left the picture.

But we have three games in a week after a two week break. It’s more a question of will he still start TC against Sheffield Weds after TC has been away on international duty? That’s maybe the time to start Tanto and give TC a break.

Not the point I was making at all. Just detailing the number of players scoring today who once played for us. Simple as that. No need to read anything else into it. Jeez.

People need to remember survival is the goal. That literally means we’re going to lose a lot of games.

Chalk this one up to experience and move on

Key point. They've hardly been Offside. We've been caught repeatedly.
