Anyone who has watched the Ryder Cup over the years would never have believed any of it. We always struggle in the single matches, for whatever reasons.
Damage done on Friday and Saturday. All that matters is the final score.2 -

Goes to show that when the Yanks have to try and put ego aside and team up they're useless, but when it's every man for himself they're much better. Story of recent Ryder Cups I feel, we play as a team they play as a bunch of All-Star individuals8

I know they did their bit the first two days but on your own stepping up in the singles game against the yanks (who are oddly, probably cos of ego, always good at) someone had to step up and he did, others though should of done as well.
